Mysterious Device Now With November 23 Launch date

I have to agree with you on this. Black Friday seems to be the most likely early release date. There will already be millions of shoppers with pockets full of money and shiny new credit cards ready to blow on the latest tech available. Realistically speaking though if it is after that, I would make the gamble that December 23 is the most feasible day to lauch. Again everybody is shopping and ready to spend money, and it is a safe distance away from all these sales and launches happening next week/thanksgiving week.

Just my thoughts. Anybody agree?
 
Didnt miami say a few days ago it was definetly not gonna be LTE though?? Tell me if i'm wrong but this is supposed to be the last big 3G smartphone release of the year from what my local vzw rep has told me. At most we might see some 4G usb modems right around xmas but devices unveiled until CES 2011.
 
The guy in my Vanpool that works for Verizon Wireless corporate office had the Droid X in hand a month before the announcement. Like I said on the closed thread that he had not seen the HTC Incredible HD except for the articles I showed him on the way to work. He said that they did get some phones in but this was not one of them. He said that it could come in if it exist but it will not be out by Black Friday if they do not have it in hand now. They are focusing on trying to get rid of phones that have a End of Life Date of March 2011.. So I am hoping that he get it in hand between now and Black Friday so hopefully it will be out before the end of the 4Q.
 
Even if this is "just" another high end 3G device - it would be a huge seller for Verizon as they haven't had a major large screen phone come out since the DX. Now, if (and that is a huge if) it ended up being their first LTE device - imagine the shockwaves it would send to the competition. A high end LTE device from a major carrier like VZW just before Christmas?!?! iPhone what?

I realize the LTE part is probably a pipe dream - but even as just a 3G device I plan on getting one - on release day. Anything more would just be icing on the cake. Bring it on Verizon.

Miami - we can't wait to get the goods - hopefully today!!!

That'd be amazing. Problem is, I don't want to have to pay an extra fee for my phone just to access 4G, haha.

Very true - one of the big draws for me as as a 3G device is that I would keep my current unlimited 3G data plan and keep my monthly bill low. But hey...I would be willing to upgrade if the phone ended up being that feature rich!!!

True, but 3G is good for me... and I don't think the 4G coverage will be all that great in my area for a couple years to come... so in the end, I think I'm set.
