I will be fine with 3G for at least a year if the DInc HD ends up being 3G. Just looking forward to the official or unofficially official information being released. Very happy to see Miami posting again. :)

I cant wait until next year to buy a phone. I need to get rid of this BB Tour ASAP! If this doenst get announced soon then I will either get the Merge or go to Tmo and get the 4G. Or see whats happening with that Nexus S. Hopefully we get a bone about the DincHD soon.

I'm sure that in a month or two months time, plenty of phones will be out that suit your needs. It's just a matter of waiting now.

well i want to say thanks to miami for the hard work. i understand that the info will come out when he has it or is allowed to put it out. i have patients i can wait. as for a what this new vrz device will be?? i dont know but what i do know is i dont care if it is 4g or 3g since i live in michigan and i know people who have the evo4g and they live in se michigan and pay an extra ten bucks a month for the 4g and dont even use it. mostly due to its not here yet. so they run with the 3g and it works great. im happy with 3g at the moment. in a year or two when 4g is nation wide then ill worry about it then. but by then who knows what the future holds for these hand held computing devices. all i know is they are the future and it will get here eventualy.
i look at it this way when the corporations feel its time to let us know what they want us to buy they will tell us. anyways this new device will be outdated in three months when the next big thing comes out. its not like what we have at the moment doest work. im happy at the moment with my rooted motodroid1. but when they do release this new device i will get one just because i can.

thats my opinion

My contract with Verizon expires November 21st. If this phone isn't slated to be released this month then I will probably go to Sprint and get the EVO4G. Verizon needs to get off their buts and get a high end smart phone out that has a nice form factor and high end interface. The HTC Inc HD is just the phone and it needs to be out this month.

What about the DX? :o

Correction: Verizon does not have any nice high end phones that 'you' like. The last time I checked, the Droid 2, Droid X, DINC, and Fascinate were all worthy phones suited for different crowds.

Not to be Negative, But this is how I see it.

1. This phone needs to be 3G. Why? Most of us won’t have 4G till 2013 unless you’re in a major city. Besides, who wants to pay an extra $10 or more for something you don't have. Waste of money to me.

2. This phone from the looks of it will grow to be a great selling device. But I really cannot see it being a stand in line phone till I start seeing commercial after commercial advertizing it.

3. Before the D1 was released, Verizon had commercials playing a month before its release date and TONS of pictures of the Droid with Verizon's branding on the device was all over the internet. We still have yet to have SOLID information about this phone stating that it's a Verizon phone/Droid.

4. No matter what, a Verizon iPhone will be the best selling phone for Verizon if released January or February. That’s why Motorola is releasing T2 for ATT and most likely Sprint. Even though Verizon’s Motorola LTE T2/Terminator will be a Droid and more powerful than the ones getting released on the other carriers, the battery life will be horrible and some reports say the screen can be as big as 4.7” No thank you!

Believe me. I’m in no way calling anyone a liar. So please do not bash me for my opinions. I really would love to get my hands on this phone IF in fact it’s for Verizon. I was really considering the DX or iPhone till I saw the “HTC Incredible HD” back in August on BGR.com and it has made me think twice. So for now I’m going to give it till the end of this month. If I don’t hear ANYTHING new that true about this device than I will give up on all hope. Unless Verizon, HTC, BGR, Miami or someone else gives me HARD evidence and FACTS that this is in fact a Verizon phone.

I really do not like the motoblur skin. And every DX I have used is buggy and laggy compared to the Droid Incredible or EVO 4G. Also - I really don't like the form factor of the DX. I don't like the bump up on the back where the camera/flash is.

As for the DINC - it is about to be replaced and has a smaller screen?! Why would I buy one now? And the D2 - I do not like sliding keyboards. And the Fascinate just feels too plasticky to me - not to mention all the issues that it has had with GPS.

At the end of the day what I really want is something like the EVO but on Verizon. My contract is up in a few weeks - so if Verizon doesn't have something released or about to be released (i.e. officially announced) then I will leave Verizon.

Why don't you get a DX? I don't see why you're placing all of your hope on this phone when Verzion has several other great Droid phones.

Whats with all these people pushing the DX on this thread? If we are going to spend 200-600 on a device we will spend it on what we want. The DX has some great internals, but the externals are not that great IMO. I don't like the wiggling buttons, and I don't like that laggy feel of the UI. It's just ugly. HTC doesn't put out subpar build quality. The people have spoken, and we want a Dinc with a larger screen and front facing camera so give it to us Verizon.
