Its funny how some of you are already calling Verizon expecting them to give answers.

I'll wait until Friday, if its available for preorder, great I'll call. If not, I will just enjoy my Droid 1 for the great phone that it is. I don't need to call these $12/hour reps looking for affirmations. I suppose if you are calling to get your upgrade pushed up, then it makes sense. Although I need to do that as well and I will just do it all at once... when I can order the phone.

But until its officially announced, not sure what everyone is expecting these reps to say? I do find it odd that they all seem to be giving different answers.

I never have done this before, but I am assuming that once you get your new phone, you self activate it and that is when it switches? everything else has to do with syncing with your Google account and then you should be up and running. Correct me if I am wrong?

I called as well and asked about the possibility of having my NE2 moved up a week to the 11th. The rep got the okay and we scheduled a callback for Friday. I didn't want to get into a conversation with him about a phone that may or may not exist yet, so I didn't mention the DHD. I'll check the VZW site before work to see if it's there for preorder, if it isn't then I'll ask the rep when he calls me. If it's still a mystery, then I'll be checking here to see what sort of results you all are getting. That's the plan....man.

Because theres no soild information to back this up. Most blogs had decided to post the rumor for the November 23rd release, but thats it. Major blogs haven't even touched this. In most eyes, this is pure speculation and I can see why./SIZE]

That doesn't really add up when some reps say HDinc and this wouldn't be a new phone. It would just mean the desire hd is coming to Verizon in every form and factor. Doesn't make sense. Can you go into anymore detail on it?
