Mysterious Device Now With November 23 Launch date

Does the Inc HD really fit that bill? "Iconic" implies a brand that's been around for awhile, or a new device that sets new standards can instantly be "Iconic". The only items I can think of being worthy of that are the IPhone and an LTE Droid (which isn't supposed to be out until May or so).

Also not sure of this huge demand for the Inc HD. There's a lot of people on this forum saving their upgrade for an LTE phone next year.

I dont know about everyone else but I use about 5G/month on 3G without tethering. From what I hear LTE will be tiered and will not have an unlimited option. I for one am not looking to spend a whole lot more money when I am prefectly happy with the speed I am currently receiving. Of course like everything else this is speculation and I don't think anyone knows concrete details on LTE pricing yet. For me though.....if my bill is going to go up substantially I would rather get the best 3G phone and plan to stay there as long as I can.

5 Gig without tethering? Holy crap man what are you doing with that phone? I average about 1-2 gigs a month, the most ever beng like 3.5 when i had the NFL draft going on the NFL network on the phone.
NFL and porn can really run them gigs up hahadancedroid

I can not wait to get this phone.........Been watching videos on the Desire HD and stopped by Sprint and played with an EVO. If the Eris is an example of the Hero, the imagine how much sweeter the DINc HD will be than the EVO.....I hope they go away from the red accents and use silver and black look.

You don't like the red????? I thought it was nice. But you're right, a nice silver would be nice. No gold like my droid please.

Droid1, CM6.

This thread is going to be nine hundred and fifty five pages by the time the phone actually gets released.

On a side note, looks like my 4th replacement S2 just landed at my house. woohoo...

Ok before you open it go on Craigslist and put an ad where you will trade your phone for an Incredible plus 100 dollars, or even trade......there are people out there that still like blackberry better than android....take advantage of them.

Have to open it to send the faulty one back. My guess its just like the last one, no nothing, just phone in an unmarked cardboard box. I am still using my original battery from my S1 even. Woohoo the Storms battery kicks all kinds of butt.

I actually paid full retail for my Storm 2 when it was released November of last year. $579.00 after tax. In January, I got my Droid1....with my contract renewal.

That Storm was the biggest waste of money ever.

On another note. I've been thinking it over, and I've decided to absolutely get the DINC HD with ny contract renewal this year. I was debating on holding off on for an iPhone, but the specs that I know of this device blow the iPhone out of the water.

As long as I can tether within a reasonable amount of time (root tether) I will be a happy moviemogul :-)

Aren't they all faulty?

Well, its an Android versus iOS thing. Its whichever you like better. But if you wait for the iPhone, you could be waiting forever.

Yes but I'm actually hoping this one works for me until the HD hits. Or I get my hands on an X if the wait ends up being a month or two from now.

While the wait continues I just got word that LTE devices will be coming Q1 2011. Not to worry if LTE is not in your area at that time. Simply pop in the LTE SIM when your in a 4G area and you are good to go.

Is your source someone other than Bill on HF? I'm sure he's correct, but he is Moto (for whom he hasn't leaked a timeline), so he doesn't have first-hand knowledge of other manufacturers.
