I'm cool sitting on my rooted Eris till a dual processor comes out. My girl has the inc and htc sucks when it comes to battery life. I'm still pissed Sprint is getting the MT2 first! Or was it at&t? Either way big red has the best coverage n maybe I'm bored with htc? Change is the only constant...

DINC is the best looking device with the extended battery i have ever seen IMO.

So instead of waiting for Miami (I am sure he will show up with the info, but looking at backup plans here), what dates are coming up that might give us an indication when this will be even announced by Verizon?

It seems Nov 8th something big is happening (can't remember)... Nov 11th something else and the 19th is the next Droid? And whenever the Merge is finally released... that is another date we need to get out of the way... Maybe after all these things blow away HTC/Vzw will start to trickle some info out on the Mythical DINC HD?

Really? Droid Pro is "iconic". High demand......I will need to see it to believe it. Now if this was the Inc HD I would agree!!!

Does the Inc HD really fit that bill? "Iconic" implies a brand that's been around for awhile, or a new device that sets new standards can instantly be "Iconic". The only items I can think of being worthy of that are the IPhone and an LTE Droid (which isn't supposed to be out until May or so).

Also not sure of this huge demand for the Inc HD. There's a lot of people on this forum saving their upgrade for an LTE phone next year.

I dont know about everyone else but I use about 5G/month on 3G without tethering. From what I hear LTE will be tiered and will not have an unlimited option. I for one am not looking to spend a whole lot more money when I am prefectly happy with the speed I am currently receiving. Of course like everything else this is speculation and I don't think anyone knows concrete details on LTE pricing yet. For me though.....if my bill is going to go up substantially I would rather get the best 3G phone and plan to stay there as long as I can.

5 Gig without tethering? Holy crap man what are you doing with that phone? I average about 1-2 gigs a month, the most ever beng like 3.5 when i had the NFL draft going on the NFL network on the phone.

While the wait continues I just got word that LTE devices will be coming Q1 2011. Not to worry if LTE is not in your area at that time. Simply pop in the LTE SIM when your in a 4G area and you are good to go.

Yes of course there will be a premium charge for 4G LTE, just like Sprint. Unlike Sprint though I do not think you are going to have to pay for LTE unless you are using it. It would be awesom if the HD Inc had a sim slot for 4G.... :( I know it only 3G but I am going to dream a little until we get the word from Miami...... 4G ready with a kick stand and flush camera, mostly metal and a front facing camera :)

Do you mean handsets in Q1?

And to go back-and-forth between LTE and 3G I need to swap sim cards? I don't like the sound of that...Although, I suppose it's technically difficult for the phone to use LTE if available and 3G if not. That way they get us to upgrade to 2nd gen a few months later.
