Nice. Somewhat on topic, when are Android phones going to finally up the anti and put out a higher res screen? I mean the Iphone 4 has been out for almost 4 months now and is there even an Android phone in the pipelines that will have its screen resolution?

Its probably not fact though. The Snapdragon processor they reference here is the same in the Dinc. These people over at PDAdb.net probably took the Evo's information along with Miami's info and posted it up. I really can't see HTC putting in the old processor while the Merge is getting the newer version.

Another question: What are the chances that this new device (featuring the specs that we think the DINC HD will have) will have Redraw problems? Please say it ain't so.

Is the redraw issue specific to certain phones? I had always assumed it was an OS issue....

I'm sure it is an OS issue, but does higher memory phones suffer from the same issue? I think the consensus is that the DINC HD has 768 MB RAM or so.

The merge and IncHD will definitely have the newer snapdragon processor in it that the Desire HD has. Only the merge is clocked at 800mhz. But it's as fast as the DX in the quadrant. So the IncHd will be flying for sure. There is no way it will have the same processor. Hopefully it will have a 1.2Ghz one for all we know, hopefully to compete with the Droid 2 global.

Gotcha. That would be nice. I would assume the higher memory would be helpful. At the very least, it would enable launchers that force the launcher to stay in memory to be more successful.

I think. Thats just my humble and non-expert opinion.

Ah nice. Some potential overclocking action on the Merge?

I'll admit. The Merge is somewhat tempting. I'm really itching for the larger screen and front camera. The keyboard on the Merge looks pretty nice though. I've come to love having the optional physical keyboard.
