I'm switching gigs and the new one uses Verizon ... so I've been following this phone. I had to pull the trigger on the Dx since I needed a phone by Monday. I had an Evo for my old gig and I loved it ... I really like Sense. So far the Dx is fine, but I do miss Sense.
I told the Verizon rep I was planning on returning the Dx if the Dinc HD is indeed released in the next 30 days. He didn't have anything to say. I also asked him if I should expect paying full retail for an LTE phone when they ship. He said it was in Verizon's best interest to offer an upgrade program rather than expect consumers to pay full retail. I took that as Verizon 'will be' offering upgrade vs full retail pricing when the LTE phones hit the market. If they don't, they'll be missing out on a lot of extra LTE data plan income. We shall see ...
