Right, that's the part that got me as well. Miami is definitely a reliable source, although two sites have said the same of this other guy as well. I'm sure they both have their connections. I'll still wait for Miami's confirm though.

Im with Viper on this. It's simple questions that im sure he can answers. The most important question of all tho is if this phone is still due to release nov. 23rd? LTE or not!

I said yeah like 18 and he laughed and said well that is about half of them. So regardless there has to be a phone coming out that makes this holiday season worthy of an upgrade. I like what I have seen about the DInc HD but we will see Monday from Miami hopefully some news.

The store will not have anything to tell you until after it is announced. The corporate offices get it a a month or 2 before it is announced. I am thinking right now this phone will not be out until the 1st Q of next year especially now with the rumor of LTE. I am think March of 2011.

Wow, so this is almost a confirmation that it will be LTE if a VZW engineer is leaking. I don't know how credible this guy is though. Hope we can get some pics soon. Its looking more and more like this phone is not coming out anytime soon. I'm guessing that the 23rd will just be some sort of announcement with nothing being released. Can anybody name a device that came this close to a supposed release date without pic/spec leaks??? We know next to nothing about this phone besides rumors. That being said they are from Miami, who is a very reliable source. That is what everybody here is hanging onto.

It's possible that they're just getting better at stopping up (some) of the leaks.

Im just hoping because this device is such a secret and maybe the LTE version wont be much of a secret and that he simply was not part of the testing group for the 3G version releasing this month and he is already testing (with open lips) about one coming next year at end of Q1.

I think we still got a good chance this month, this guy posted info from his twitter, if it was the same device dont you think he would be fearing his job a little bit for releasing info if they made Miami sign an NDA YESTERDAY?

Doesnt make sense unless they are REALLY yanking Miami's chain, he wouldnt of been given such strict orders to hold off if this phone was being delayed until next year..

im sticking with the 2 different phones theory for now.. (i can see a Droid 2 LTE coming next year would be the same thing)

With the rumor of ramping call centers, it all smells like an announcement of an LTE phone, probably due Jan or early Feb, that they will be taking pre-orders for throughout the holiday season.

This close to having an LTE phone they probably decided this approach was better to avoid having a lot of angry customers who pulled the trigger on a 3G DInc not knowing LTE was literally just around the corner.

Alternatively, the soon-to-be-released Dinc might be LTE capable, but not until the release of LTE sim cards and possibly requiring a software update to be pushed.

Maybe he has am early non-production model and they don't want him commenting until he has played with what will actually be released. That could reconcile the 3G vs LTE rumors.

I would take what Miami says over Black_Man_X's any day.

Ah. But he didn't leak any information. If you read his tweet it says, "Just saw something so incredible that it was almost HD... and LiTE as a feather..." We simply put two and two together. Technically speaking, he didn't say the Incredible HD is LTE and didn't acknowledge an actual device. They can't really say anything.

Doesn't really matter. Most employees at "at will" and can be fired for virtually any reason.

That said, I don't buy that these "leaks" aren't being carefully orchestrated by HTC. They seem to have the whole "geek world" abuzz. The feedback generated by all these "rumors" is invaluable in gauging potential demand and possibly how to market the phones.

Not sure how both will play out yet....bklackman x is a relaible source also.. I have sent an email and been in contact tonight with the VZW CC as well...

As soon as I know for sure. I will post it up..nothing more to do for now but wait it out with you guys
