NES/SNES/N64 Emulators

NES=.nes files
SNES=.smc files
and so forth, just google for the roms, put them in any folder, download the emulators in the market, and point the emulator in the right folder direction and choose your game file and go!

Also gameboy advance games=.gba, but you need gba_bios.bin in that same folder (again just google it to find it) and it is EXACTLY 16,384 bytes in sizes so you get the right one.

Anybody know where I can find a game genie rom for snesoid? I found one for nesoid

Edit: Nevermind I just found out it doesn't support the game genie lol

Maybe a dev can get the xbox 360 controller to work on the droid. Its what I use on my PC for a controller, uses usb. Its easy on the PC because both are microsoft, but there should be a way to get it working on the droid.

That would be awsome. I didn't think about the 360 controller. I've used mine on my pc. It has to be possible.

If a dev can make an app that can link my droid to my pc anywhere, being able to hook up a controller should be no problem.

AFAIK the USB port on Droid is not a host port, so you can't attach any peripherals to it.

Also, have you seen this: iPhone 3GS/iPod Touch 3G Gets Native Nintendo 64 Emulator | GSM Dome - Mobile Phone News

Looks like N64 emulation could be possible on Droid after all :)
Well, apps like PdaNet have you connect the Droid to a computer and even install custom drivers... so I'm sure it's possible. You'd probably have to have Root so that you can install a custom gamepad driver onto the phone.
