These 2.1 apps were taken from the Nexus I think and since none of the US phones have had multitouch (besides SenseUI ones), these apps won't have multitouch. You Milestone guys are lucky lol

I get constant FCs and I've tried your method from post 1, even tried redownloading it but no dice. Other widgets work though.

Strange, we hear that from some users, but its a minority.
May i ask WHEN did you buy your phone?
We have the suspicion, that some errors depends on WHEN the phone was produced and delivered. Same issue occured on the BlackBerry Storm.

It's 3 weeks old, imported from Germany (VF branded), but how could that have anything to do with the gallery app not working?

ok, i've used a zip file and the .apk file tigger posted but when i try to install the apk file there's nothing in it and when i unzip the zip file into my sd card .. nothing happens? am i missing a step here can someone help please i've tried for almost 2 hours now trying to find the answer myself but i have no luck haha. please and thank you ^^

Now I didn't read every post here, so I don't know if anyone else did it the way I did.

I unzipped them on my computer.

Attached the unzipped files to an email.

Emailed them to myself.

Used the built in browser to access my email account via the web.

Clicked on each attachment and they all installed one at a time.

No Problems. All are working as they should.
Now it's time to go play with them.

tried dling it straight from my droid and when i try to install it with the stock package installer program it says "parse error there is a problem parsing the package" any help please?

I'd try a battery pull reboot.

Rename from .zip to .apk and install.
