New Apps from 2.1

Go to Google and download Picasa the application. It's one that resides on your computer and is by far the best out there - and it's free.

Then you have the online Picasa that you can upload your pics to and move them to the computers Picasa...

Amazing.

Thanks for the update 928. As for Picasa, is this a storage area sort of like Photobucket?

Anybody have the .apk files for these? I don't have a computer, so I can't get the .zip files, unzip then and then transfer them. The .apk's can be installed right on the phone through the browser.

question, got everything loaded and running (except for launcher, kept closing, will wait).

Once the .apk file is copied to phone, once the file is installed and working, can the .apk file be removed from the phone via PC (while mounted)???? is it only needed for install or is it still required for the program to run properly...

Thanks in advance...

Eric

Used the new clock last night with the green mode, worked nicely. Also the clock moves around the screen somewhat like a screensaver.

After installing the .apk isn't needed anymore so it's safe to remove.

Did you guys get the message from Verizon today? 2.1 is coming out any day now... ;)
Verizon sent out a message? Like through text notification or e-mail? I haven't received anything.

Wasn't a VZW e-mail.... it came from Droidforums webmaster. It was an E-mail basically to highlight the good news from Nexus announcement today.

Ah booo :\ I already got that message and knew it wasn't from VZW. I got excited because I thought it might have been official news :(
