New ICS leak .214

I did that same exact thing but I keep getting the same sideload error...

People were having that same issue when side loading ICS from gingerbread. If i remember right, you turn the phone off, reboot into recovery again, wipe the cache twice and install the update again. Worked for me when going from gingerbread to ICS.

Maybe fixing several things, like dim status bar?

Too dim? I keep my brightness all the way down 90% of the time, and on Auto the rest of the time. My status bar always seemed as bright (if not brighter at times) than the rest of the screen...

Applied the leak...install was as smooooooth as a gravy sandwich...keeping the .zip file on the SD card that enables you to go back to .211 just in case something goes wrong. So far so good. It's been a few hours since I applied the leak and my battery "seems" to be lasting a little longer....then again I cannot say for sure that it was any worse coming from GB to ICS. THough it did seem to be draining a little faster on ICS. As for the status bar....well...."maybe" it is a little brighter???? Then again there are times it looks a little brighter and other times it doesn't....as if it fluctuates in brightness from time to time. Is the phone as a whole "snappier" as some claim??? I cannot really see any difference. SO for now it appears as if the leak has done NO HARM, but I cannot say for certain that it has done any good either. I did do a cache wipe after the update though as some have suggested. Everything appears to be working as "properly" as it did before applying the leak. dancedroid:icon_ banana:DancingNexus
