new ics leak 6.7.232

I disagree, most of the "issues" you mention are simply things inherent to ICS and are also present in the RAZR final OTA. If anything, this leak is better than what the RAZR got officially. If Verizon approved something less spectacular for the RAZR, I can't see them being more picky with the Bionic build.

They may be inherent to ICS but they represent a step backwards. It appears as tho the "apply as' feature was left out as though it was intended to be put back in. Yes the other issues are inherent and we will be waiting to see improvements on. But of course, if they have already rolled it out for the Razr, what is the delay for the bionic? And as you said, the leak is already better than the Razr build, so why are they being so picky with the Bionic build?

Help please. installed .232 via recovery per instructions after FXZ to .902 and OTA to .905. Install went smoothly but I have no phone or 3G/4G. Yes I cleared cache prior to reboot after recovery. WiFi seems to connect. System is very slow. Received message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". When I tapped okay, phone rebooted. it is trying to update applications in background. Baseband version is unknown, Total cluster diddle... This is the same thing that happened ten days ago, when I tried to install a previous version (.2233 i believe). Any ideas would be appreciated.

Very frustrating, everything seems to be on Bionic, even 1.2Gh CPU speed, but no phone or 3G/4G connections.... What to do?

After trying everything I could think of, I FXZd back to .902. Have radios, reinstalling apps now. What a damn shame. But after, two fails, my only other option seems to be a factory reset and try again. Maybe after the scabs heal...

Had an issue with downloading a jpeg I wanted to use for a wallpaper, and could not set it as wallpaper.

Odd, I tested this and it worked fine for me. I simply long-pressed on the jpeg (in the browser) and "Set as wallpaper" option was there. Which explains why my wallpaper is now a giant "GOOGLE" logo *LOL*

LMFAO

For some reason its not working for all jpegs. Also, it is showing up other downloaded images in the gallery but not this one. Plus when i wan to pick a wallpaper, i have to slide through 2 years of pics. I wish there was a folders view.

Download quickpic from play store. Much nicer than stock gallery.

Very strange things are going on here...

This is the most strange thing that has ever happened in my time with android and my bionic.

So here I am just finally getting around to flash one the the latest leaks the 232 leak, I have never been on any other leak before this just for info. I go and down load the up date put on sd card ext go through my phone to make sure I have put every thing back to stack aka frozen apps and build prop changes and removed safestrap. At this point I think I am all set to go I power off go to stock recovery and start the up date and it comes back with a status 7 error I can not completly remember the full status error sorry. Once this comes up I go ahead and say reboot and wait. Phone reboots then I am looking through the phone to see what I might have forgot about and for some reason I go to look at the system info and I find that I am know running system version 5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US I have no idea how I got to such a old version just because a update would not run  So I go and check for updates and it finds up Blur_Version.5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US I have no clue I am just going to do the up date then I guess I will just check for updates again when it is done loading this one.. This make totally no scene at all I would guess it would have just rebooted and be at the version I was on not this really really old version.

Any comments or thoughts are welcome

Thanks

Here is a screen shot before I started the update

That's absolutely impossible, camaro1173. The only thing that could have possibly happened is that for whatever reason, your phone never successfully updated beyond the original OS that the device launched with.

I'm not questioning you, but this is just as impossible as it would be to breathe on the moon.

There's something screwy with that particular jpeg then. Try downloading it on your PC, open it in "Paint" and re-save it as a jpg file and transfer it to your sd card. See if that works.

He would have had to restore and old nandroid. Look at his radio and webtop.

Yeah, but he makes no mention of restoring any nandroids, just rebooting into stock recovery (which nixes the nandroid theory) and trying to install the leak.

That having been said, he needs to FXZ to .902 and take the .905 OTA, and then install the leak. Simply removing Safestrap isn't enough, since it mucks up the preinstall partition.

I thank you for all your posts about what you think has happened but does not really help me out that much at all.
what does not make any sense is that the ota update it downloaded will not in stall at all either. I have never had this problem in the past at all with any other updates and I did have safe strap installed with the other updates. This time I uninstalled the program and removed the app as well.
