New ICS Leak for Bionic

Has anyone had any issues with WiFi yet?

I was getting a great connection for the first few days I had ICS installed, but now I can't get anything. Whenever I turn WiFi on, it connects to my router, shows that I'm connected, but only gives me one dot of signal strength. If I go into the WiFi settings, though, it shows the accurate signal strength for the two networks in my house. I restarted my network and everything, nothing changed. Everything else i own connects perfectly fine.

This is brand new as of today. I just managed to get it to connect a couple of minutes ago and it's now showing full signal strength, but I imagine it's only a matter of time before the issue shows up again.

I should also note that once it's "connected", as soon as I try to use anything that requires an internet connection, it kicks back over to 3G, and WiFi freezes up entirely. I have to toggle it off and on to get my networks to pop up again.

Anyone have any idea what it could be? Like I said, things started out great, and I know it's not my networks.

No signal issues yet....at all the only drop i've had with 4G was when train stopped in tunnel long enough to let buffer run dry. Dropped to 3G when we got out of the tunnel, toggled airplane mode on then off and bap! Back to perfect 4G blue state.

I noticed the same thing last night! Battery and data manager are gone, however smart actions is bad ass! I do wish i could disable the icons in the notification bar though.

You can turn off the notification icon. Click on smart action app, then menu, then settings, uncheck Rule status notification

Update I tried all sorts of things between powering the phone down and turning off the wifi and back on...my router as well I still was not getting the correct signal strength and when I tried to access the internet it would transition back to 4 g. I even checked smart actions for any changes there. However with the wifi powered on I put the phone in to sleep when I brought it back out all the sudden it connected to the wifi correctly showing that correct signal strength it is now working properly. Possible bug??

I've experienced same issue last 2 days, and I'm still on OTA 905 root. Wifi kicks out and switches to 3g. All other devices have no issue. This is first device I've ever had a problem with wifi.

Deduct,
How did under clocking fare for you? Are your temps back down to normal? I followed the steps for rooting and it was successful, I now have the SU app. Now how do I go thru the process of under clocking?

Thanks,
Josh

Under clocking back to 1.0 did not seem to help with the overheating. I believe its just getting that hot now because of the 100+ temperatures here in arkansas. As far as changing cpu you can download rom toolbox and once installed open and swipe right to performance and click on cpu control. Then you have the option to turn down/up your max cpu.

Funny, ever since the temp in NWA has gone pass 100° my phone has been hot as well. I thought it was due to the lcs leak. Guess it's not the leak since you're getting about the same results.
