[New!!!][ROM] D1-MIUI-1.1.7.0

Sms pop up shows incorrect time of text, but when you go into the thread the time is fine. Its off by like 5 hours

I came up with a fix for that. Just put this png in the com.android.mms folder of the theme you are using ;)

I seem to be having an Issue with the market. I have been trying to download Rom manager again and it won't let me. Everytime I download it the market starts to install on my phone then go into a re-boot with no installation. I can't seem to get Rom Manager installed back onto my phone, even through MIUI back up. Says that it installs but I can't find it anywhere on my phone.

i should make it manditory for people to read ur thread :-P then have a little test before you can access the download link :p

Yeah, well....
I wrote that because things were getting pretty chippy around here, alot of READ THE F'ing THREAD, even though the threads were massive. Just trying to keep people from getting banned:) Thanks for including it in the OP, it has helped keep the threads down to real issues for the most part.

Go into recovery mode manually > partitions menu > format data format cache

then go to advanced> format dalvik-cache

then flash the rom again.

im gonna add this to the op. :icon_ banana:

the https issue seems to be resolved so now tweetdeck can access facebook.

the yahoo free mail issue is not solved but I doubt it has high priority for the developers. I got around it by restoring data from the TiBu for the mail 2.2.1 system app. I still can't send emails but I can see the ones received and can delete mail in all my account in one place. I had backed up EVERYTHING using TiBu before I flashed any roms. If I need to send an email, I use the Yahoo Mail App. PITA to use two apps but it works for now. I don't like the multiple sent items the imap workaround gives you.

the lock screen text icon still won't give me google voice as a choice.

For thos elooking for a theme, try the batman choice. Pretty cool. I don't know what it's called since it has a Chinese character as a name.

Hey, guys...decided to give this ROM a try. First time running MIUI...installation went great. But, when I restored my data via recovery, I'm not constantly getting this message over and over:

--android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Any ideas?

As it says in the OP, don't restore data. It will cause FCs. You will have to wipe and reload and redo all your settings from scratch. Yes its a PITA but its worth it.

I thought it said don't restore "system".

It says:
Restore apps/data with MIUI backup or Titanium backup [NOT SYSTEM DATA!!!!!!!]

The only data you can restore is the desktop layout and some app data. NOT the system data through recovery. But, don't take my word for it.

so far, so good. things seem to be running smooth and i have no force closes to report. im very happy..... thanks jamz !

since i had nothing else to do today. I flashed this rom a few times today to test out the mui backup. after all my apps got downloaed through market, i backed the apps and desktop layout through Miu backup. i went to flash again with wipe data. I stopped my apps from downloading through market and restored them through Mui backup. the whole app and desktop restoring only took. 10min through miu backup compared to 30 min from the old way :icon_ banana:
