cant wait for my fed ex chick to show up with my new TB today. I cant believe that the wait is over. Did everybodys Thunderbolt come with the earbuds? I saw someone ask and wondered that myself since you need the earbuds for the FM radio to work.

earbuds didn't come with mine

Was first in line when Verizon opened their doors here in Toledo, Ohio and am pretty much loving it so far. I too have a concern about battery life but I'll get it fully charged and we'll see what's what. I'm coming from the OG Droid and then the Droid X so I'm not really used to sense yet but already see that I'm liking it better than Moto Blur. I look forward to rooting the daylights out of this thing and taking it to the lab....

Im in toledo also. What did you pay?

can + string on 2.1

$240 with government discount

yea just coming from an OG droid, web browsing on 3g, pages loading etc are so fast...goes to show it was the hardware slowing things down rather than the network dancedroiddancedroid

The TB is much faster then the D1 using only 3G. I had both side by side at the Verizon store and at home, I would open the browser, type in the same website and click go. The TB loaded half the page before the D1 even started. Running speed tests as well I was getting around 1400-1600 down and 850 up, and on the D1 I was getting around 800-1200 down and 700-800 up.

When you picked the TB up... What are they
saying about 4G data prices if 4 lts comes to our area will the data price increase?
Thanks.

Currently if you buy a TB you need to pay $30 per month for an unlimited 4G data plan. Since you are locked into a 1/2 year contract you will not need to pay any more for 4G until your contract expires. There is talk that this summer Verizon will go to tiered data pricing, and possibly a premium for 4G.

It doesn't matter if your area has 4G or not currently.

On truck to be delivered by 3, i can already see its going to be a long day and a very unproductive weekend dancedroiddancedroiddancedroid

I have a Droid X rooted and i've tried every rom available out there , i have an Xoom also , waiting for them to make the SD Card available so i can do some stuff with it . I know the Droid X is moto blur and from what i'm reading the Thunderbolt is Sense , what is the difference between the two Sense and Blur ?, are there more roms out there for sense ?, is it easier to root and make roms for Sense ? can someone explain because i would love to get one and i'm keeping my x too because i bought it full price . Thanks

I never used Motoblur, but I absolutely LOVE HTC Sense, it allows me to do so much more with my phone then I ever could have with my D1.

Ive never really dealt with sense a lil here and there but not enough to get a feel for it. i have a droid 2 so i know the motoblur and it is not that bad has some useful stuff on the social networking end and calendar. but i think they are just both types of user interface that moto and HTC put on there devices.
