New tb owners!!!

i love this phone!

however i would love it more if the following wasn't an issue:
1. can't get text messages from incredible onto thunderbolt. is that even possible?

2. i used beautiful widgets on the incredible because the clock/weather widget wasn't exact with my location (same on this phone... it's a town over) and i used this awesome black flipclock with white lettering and numbers... i found it using some kind of file manager thing (because where i got it on my last phone there are now only 10 options) but it says the file isn't valid. i did choose one that's similiar to the factory one htc puts on their phones that i'm happy with but i would like a black one better... help?


those are my only issues it's nothing major but if those 2 things can get fixed it would be fantastic

WiFi should use less. I don't have light at the bottom, so maybe your screen is a little off?

I like sense, first time user, much more fluid, don't know why anyone would put adw or lp on top of it, but to each there own. Love the phone so far

Extra battery? and other stuff

May I aske where y'all are buying your extended battery? From VW or somewhere else?

In talking to VZ customer svc the only way I can get the TB is to add a line to my account and then move the the TB over to my line to replace my D1. I'm not up for upgrade until July and husband until May. Then they told me to bring an old VZ phone with me that still works and doesn't require a data plan and have them put that on the new line in place of the TB and then I'm only paying $9.99 per month for the extra line for 1 year or 2 years whichever I choose. I'm leaning towards 1 year.

I can't see any other way to get the TB before May and I really want one. My D1 is getting so slow. If I get TB with 1 year contract means I'm paying $319.99 for it but I can't see any other way to do it. I hate to lock into another 2 year contract when so many new phones coming out.

Any suggestions anyone?

i have 3 lines one that i dont really use and got th bolt on that on 1 year contract. so now by the time i want to upgrade ill have another upgrade available.

two lights on the bottom appear if you're looking at it from top to bottom, where the soft keys are. Lights turn off about about 3 seconds.

you might be able to upgrade early with a 20.00 fee. you can always go to your local store and talk to them about it

I was talking about at the very bottom, under the menu/search/etc navigation.
You can see where some light is slipping out.

Right here, in between where the black portion ends, and the bottom portion starts.

if you take a ruler and hold it on the kickstand the extended battery will just reach the 1/16th of an inch... it's not bad at all. the only bulge is the battery part... the kickstand isn't covered at all (the battery cover ends just before the kickstand) and it goes flat before the camera. if you want a case that covers the back go with a high-gloss silicone case and use a razor blade to cut out an opening. i did that with mine, if you want pictures pm me with your email address and i'll send you them by tonight

May I ask where you got the Extended battery from? I'm thinking about getting one and not sure if I should get it from Verizon or look elsewhere.
