That sounds excessive and unnecessary for unlimited plans.

Same plan as the OP. The extra pages are because one of the lines had a LOT of calls. I called support today and after initially being told there there was no such plan <G>, the tech checked on something for a while and came back with a $20 credit for the line that wasn't signed up an assurance that it would be from now on.

I just called and was told i couldnt get it cause i didnt get the email..but i am gonna try another person in a minute.I had her compare what i pay now and what i would be paying for this promotion.I have 1 droid-x 2-samsung intensitys on the FS700 unlimited text for all 3 phones but no internet for the samsung intensitys just on my droid-x web/email 29.99 i pay now.So i would be paying $20 more a month if i switched to this but i would be doubling my minutes,adding unlimited data to the samsung intensitys.Do you think it is worth the $20 to switch?.I just might cancel my Digital phone service from TWC if i do switch since it will be 1400 minutes and all.

I wish i was as lucky as a lot of you....I've been trying for the past 2 weeks, random times, and still no dice.

However, when i called tonight, the rep said she would be sending my info to some 'team' that would approve or deny my request to get the plan. Not sure what that is all about. She said I should have an answer within 48 hours....so, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, but i won't be holding my breath

Plus you'd be getting Family & Friends. Without a doubt it would be worth it if it gives you enough minutes to cancel the home line. Do you want people calling you or your house? If you want a phone number to give out when you don't want to give out your cell, get Google Voice. How far along are you on your present contract? The threat of switching to ATT worked for me. Be firm but pleasant; ask for a supervisor.

Just activated my family plan as a new Verizon customer this morning and then called the number and got the promo without any hassle. Saves me $60 a month. dancedroid

I'm glad you got the deal, however from sitting 2-1/2 years in the VZW CS side before I left, we took those switching to Sprint, AT&T, T-M, etc. very lightly, especially when we saw how many phones were still under contract. The math was easy to do and knew it wouldn't be cost effective for the customer to switch. In fact, we would note the file saying the threat was there to switch (churn). If it was a monthly threat, it was noted too on the first screen we saw in the notes area.

Gee. Called yesterday and I was told that I was eligibale. Called today and got it switched to the plan. Yppie. Now I am saving $40 a month.dancedroid
