I assume your attempting humor that I just don't seem to get rockrdr but as my last cell bill shows those plans are indeed real and amounted to a savings of over $40 a month for me...
for future users. since they are dropping data plans, they will be making up for it getting it back in phone sales. how many phones have you all kept for 2 years? and with technology changing so fast with phones, people will want to upgrade more often and pay the higher price. vzw never gives something w/o somehow getting something
The loss of early upgrades and NE2 applies to all according to that screen shot in that thread. I keep all phones 2 years as I have 2 lines and rotate the older phone to the wife who could not care less...

Just saying that this add everyone is talking about is a fake!
there is no plans that include data, you have to add it! If you
arnt sure just call Verizon, they will verify this
@rockrdr - The plan highlighted in the OP does include data but Verizon seems to be a little picky on who they give it to. Originally you had to have received an email to get this plan. You might have to try multiple times to get it.

While a seperate line item on the bill for data (this promo really simply credits $20 off every data plan to lower overall cost) it is still a package deal and data is part of the plan shoudl you get on it. There is no hidden cost or strings here. The total cost comes out to be 69.99 or 139.99 before taxes and fees. They simply credited a portion of the data to make it as such.
So the plan and its total value is correct.
I dont have to call verizon to verify it. I simply look at my bill that is now $40 cheaper then it was before I called about this plan.....
That's basically the same thing for the family plans, except in addition to that price, the data is discounted to $10. With those prices on the flyer, you are still looking at $30 per line of data. So you end of paying more.
We don't need the unlimited mobile to mobile. With the unlimited verizon calls and 10 friends/ family, we are barely touching our 1400 minute allowance.
