Question. I have the 1400 min familyshare plan 2 smartphones and 2 dumb phones paying 110 for minutes 20 for unlimited texts and 29.99 x2 for data and 9,99 x2 for dumbphones. will I have to have 4 smartphones or does the unlimited data cover the dumb phones as well?

Nope, this plan only covers smart phones. That's what several people in the thread have reported anyway.

I have two 'dumb' phones with this plan and two smart phones. Never any question of the 'dumb' phones. The two kids with 'dumb' phones are excted about getting to upgrade to a smartphone now but are enjoying unlimited data with the dumb phone while they wait (they have to come up with $ to pay for smartphone)

I called today and was told that this promotion has been pulled back due to people calling about it, as a result of a posting on a 'blog' site. Wish I would have called sooner!

Yeah it did get pulled back. Luckily i got the plan before they did but everyone was calling in claiming they got the email yet if they really did then they would have known not to call customer service. The promo email had the number to a special department designated for adding the new plan

And no the plans not only for smartphones the requirement is just that u have to move to unlimited email and web on all lines whether smartphone or not

Hell they told me that end of last year when I got it. I think it is their common script to get people off the phone and not give them the promo...

I got a huge bill when I switched to this plan, seems like they just added unlimited internet to all the lines. I told them to start it in my next bill cycle that started on the 7th of this month. WTH!?

You mean you didn't have to upgrade their phones? From what I've read from other people who got the plan it had to apply to smart phones.

But I'm not certain, my phones are smart phones. I'll take your word for it.
