NEW: When Will the ThunderBolt be Available for Purchase?

The 16th huh. Well I went to BB today and they are taking pre-orders. I told them I laready had a pre order but wanted to know if they knew anything..they said no which I totally respect. I looked around at some of the accessories for the TB which comforted me because at least I know they will get the phone someday or they wouldn't have accessories. I then went and bought a $200 gift card so that I have the money ready for whenever VZW decides to release the phone. So I guess I've pseudo bought this phone today :huh: I must say that in all my adult hood never have I paid for something I don't technically have yet!

If you can remember around November or December best buy had accessories for the Merge for Verizon then removed them and it still is not released yet. But now they have decided to release it again. Don't trust in the accessories being in the store...:icon_eek:

I purchased some TB accessories yesterday just to tide myself over. LOL.

I just went back to watch that commercial on USA. Has anybody noticed that the date on the phone reads March 16?

Great now we will have to wait 3 more months for them to fix the clock issue

Why doesn't HTC just start selling the phone out right to those that can afford if it has been ready for forever? Then they could force VZW to activate the phones.

You're correct. But if enough people show up asking for this phone to be activated on their network I'm sure they would give in. It was just a thought...

Don't gauge how many people would ask for that based on the members of the board wanting the phone. The amount of people that would raise a ruckus about it to Verizon wouldn't even qualify as a blip on their radar.
