About Atrix: no
I'll wait :D

I went to Best Buy and just said "Thunderbolt?" and the guy at the mobile center said "No" and walked away. I bet they get a lot of this from customers. :]

Also whoever said "Compared to Chocolate Touch?" (don't care enough to check who), no, not compared. It's an opinion. Any phone is better compared to a Chocolate touch. This phone is a joke.

Until I see a picture of a Thunderbolt in a stock room I will not believe they are in store. And til' I see an announcement from Verizon saying 3/10 I will not believe 3/10. :D This way I won't drive myself insane over a release of a phone. Like some of you others. :P

Wow! I was not aware that VZW is responsible for "getting this phone out". I always thought a dedicated HTC team works with VZW's software & marketing teams to release a phone. :icon_eek:

Yes, I am being sarcastic, because that is how it works. Seems whoever came up with this info needs to take a few steps back to reality. HTC drives the majority of effort for a phone release- NOT the other way around. I guess when no word tomorrow, people will get this.

Meantime, flame away- if you believe this off center stuff in the article. Who comes up with this stuff? If ANYONE is being pressured, it is HTC, since VZW is THEIR customer- NOT the other way around. Jeesh.

Was reading a tech magazine dated today and had this interesting tiny article in it, thought it might be worth something

HTC's LTE phones are useless without Verizon's new network.

Once again, HTC can do 4G on CDMA, the EVO has proved this, I'm thinking "its the network"

I think you have these mixed up.

Partner: Individual who joins with other individuals (partners) in an arrangement (partnership) where gains and losses, risks and rewards, are shared among the partners.

Customer: A party that receives or consumes products (goods or services) and has the ability to choose between different products and suppliers. See also buyer.

Amen, I'm sure Verizon's lackluster Iphone sales and surplus of older Android phones have a huge part to do with the delays. They'd like to clean the shelves before everyone sees their shiny new 4g phone hit the market.

This shows that the TB WII have Video Skype then

So did the Best Buy ads but then they posted a in-store ad correction stating there won't be. Don't get your hopes up. Demo phones are not able to do video Skype, only the audio works. Don't fuss about it though, you can get Skype functionality at any time with an update.

I deal with those relationships all the time and there is still a customer structure (one has leverage). The premise of the article implies the device is fine and no problems, except for VZW. If 4G is the issue, forcing a device out when not ready (if that is the issue) is counterproductive and makes little sense.

Seems more a joint scew-up and if there is any tension, it is the CFOs of both companies sending their finance directors out and showing operations, sales and R&D the downward trending curve of sales assumptions for the TB- as each week passes.

Added: The litmus for the accuracy of the article will be answered in less than 24 hours.
