The Atrix is a buggy, Motoblur-tainted POS. Don't get it.

I messed with the Atrix and it was very Fast. I had four apps running at the same time and using the Browser. There was no lag. It actually made me want the Bionic even more... May be it was just that device... I do not like AT&T and had bad service where I live..

While speaking to a VZW rep on the phone to activate an old Blackberry (just sold my Droid 2 on CL awaiting the TB release), I asked about the TB and she said that she just got her training for the TB today in fact. I asked how far in advance that typically occurs and she says usually very soon before the release of the phone, and in the case of the iPhone, at least for her, she actually received her training after the phone released.

I feel you. in fact i just called verizon earlier and ordered a 32GB iphone. im done with this phone. cant wait till gingerbread comes out and the EVO already has its update pushed but VZW "delays" the update so they can work out "the bugs"

Almost there -- what's killing me (and everyone else) is that I don't *know* the release date. If I thought it was a month out, I'd get the Incredible tonight. I'm soooooo ready for a new phone.

And Verizon's not doing themselves any favors by not giving out a date. I'm willing to wait, but at this point it better be worth it. If I keep waiting like this and the Thunderbolt releases with an even slightly obnoxious pricing plan, I'm going to be so frustrated that I'll be switching to AT&T.

I have to agree. The Thunderbolt has taken way too long to come out. It should have come out last fall as a 3G only phone, and then should have came out later this year as a 4G dual-core model, if HTC had done things the right way. The Thunderbolt's battery is WAY too small for it, everyone who buys it is definitely going to be disappointed with the battery life. I am more looking forward now to the Incredible 2 or Droid X2 now, because 4G isn't going to be in my area for quite a long time. There is no sense for me to buy a 4G phone, never to use that feature.

Is the Thunderbolt in next weeks circular? That would make it 3 weeks and still no Thunderbolt.

Regarding the Atrix: I personally used the phone for a week. It did not live up to expectations. It was fast, but almost always buggy. Screens constantly freezing, Motoblur issues, data not syncing properly. Also, I was getting very weak service (1 to 2 out of 5 bars) in areas where both Verizon and AT&T phones were showing full bars.

I would personally avoid it.

The amount of bars you get on a phone doesn't mean anything. It's only important if you drop calls.

Do you sound better on 4 bars then on 2 bars?
