I should have never sold my iPhone. This fiasco is really not any fun for me. I just assume that they would announce the phone and launch within a reasonable time frame. At&t can at least do that right...

I don't know what changed from a week ago till now, but everyone was saying oh the 10th, and definitely not the 3rd, and now it's not going to happen. I am still believing the 10th.

I just got my Seidio Innocase, 1600 mAh extended battery, and Steinheil Ultra Fine screen protector in the mail today. The case looks and feels great, not too bulky, pretty light. The battery is tiny! They should have tried to fit a bigger one in the TB somehow. Curiously they both have "HTCMEC" printed on them (probably since the pre-production model they used to design these was code-named Mecha). I thought I would be excited to get them, but it just made it worse. [Sigh] I need something to put this stuff on soon!

So I stop off at BB this afternoon to play with a xoom. And see if I can milk any info about the TB. Very impressed with the xoom. But nothing new on TB. Head on over to VZW and play with xoom some more and a ask about TB. Both places I was more informed then reps. But I now feel pretty confident about March 10th release. Why? Cause I just invested in a xoom. This is sweet. If the TB isn't out by the 10th I now have something to play with while I'm waiting.

There's a possibility Best Buy will start selling it exclusively on March 8th, beginning with those who pre-ordered. Rumors have been circulating just today that some of the more knowledgeable Best Buy staff have been throwing around that March 8 date when asked about the TB. Others say the 10th. Most don't know.

What we know right now is that an announcement is imminent and will come by Monday at the latest. I'm pretty confident the release date isn't going to be later than the 10th, even despite the announcement delays.

Thunderbolt devices began shipping to stores today. I think store employees are going to be notified of this sometime tomorrow, at which point maybe then we'll HAVE to have an announcement, by default, simply because everyone will know.

I'm REALLY surprised that BB hasn't made some sort of statement. I'm on the side that believes the 14th WAS the date, but it got changed. BB must have a lot riding on their VZW sales to stay quiet as the TB is about to be run in their THIRD consecutive ad.
