Still need to wipe cache and reflash gapps...but your data should still be there.

But it never hurts to backup

if you dont wipe data you dont have to install gapps again

Confirmed! I just flashed last night's nightly without wiping anything and kept all my data. I didn't have to flash gapps.

Note - flashing automatically wipes cache and dalvik cache. Only one app didn't retain its settings that I noticed (Juice Defender), but it had a backup feature built-in anyway.

It's 11:21am so I haven't had the chance to test it yet. Automatic light switches at work make it impossible to even go in a dark room.

Definitely not on. I'm trying to find a spot where it's dark enough to see if it comes on, though.

Note - I did change the setting of the lowest one to 0 on the custom levels.

Messed around with some settings... the top shows the current light levels. I have it so the keyboard only comes on at below 200 units, whatever they are. It works perfectly.

10 is enough in a dark room to light up the keyboard for me.

Edit #2: I just found out the "buttons" option is 0 or 255 (off or on). It's for the four buttons on the screen.

anyway to get the old camera back... i hate the ics camera only taking up half the screen

so if i go to gallery and then upload a few picts to my photobucket account, when then phone returns to the gallery it can no longer load the picts from the gallery. everything is blank and it says "failed to download the list of albums, please try again later".

any ideas?

EDIT: also if you try and go to the camera after this happens i get a camera error and it says cant connect to the camera. only a reboot will fix it.

EDIT 2: also getting random reboots, ill leave my phone and come back to it being on the CM9 boot screen. im not sure if its actually turning off first or if it just goes right to this screen but i need to manually hard reboot to fix it.

EDIT 3 lol: i just verified that after going to the gallery, watching it fail, going to the camera, it fails, then about 45 seconds later the phone goes right to the CM9 boot screen and just stays there.

i had this problem earlier today on the 6/22 build for the first time. just flashed 6/24 tonight as i was waiting for the keyboard fix and had the same problems. i flashed 6/24 with no wipes (it auto wipes cache/dalvik anyway). i just fixed permissions but havent tried to force this problem again. ill wait to see what hash has to say in case he needs a log or something

I've had a couple soft reboots(straight to boot animation) as well. But mine happened after I sent a text message.

Also, the cursor in the text fields is acting up. It just stays at the begining of the text field and you can go back to edit words in the middle of the texts. Only way to edit them is to delete the words after it until you reach the word you wanna change. This doesn't happen with the hard keyboard it. It might just be a problem with swype beta.
