[ROM] [NIGHTLY] UNOFFICIAL CM9/ICS For Droid 4 For MotoICS Leak

Just a few things I've noticed... for some reason, Facebook Messenger notifications don't work. The app works and I can get messages when I open it, but I don't get notifications.

Also, the screenshot option seems to take a really big screenshot. The actual screen only takes up 60% of the picture.

Edit: FB Messenger works now. I just uninstalled and re-installed.

So, is no one else having these wifi issues that I am? Its really a problem for me.. This rom is otherwise perfect for my needs! So frustrating.

That is strange. I've been on this CM9 ROM since 6/29 with no wifi issues. But I only connect to wifi at home. Maybe it's a problem going between more than one wifi connection?

ive noticed that a few times a week i will wake up and have no service. i will have full white bars with no 4G icon. where i live i normally have 100% 4G coverage and after a reboot the coverage comes right back im just not sure what happens in the middle of the night to cause this.

How is data on this build? Still using CM9 nightlies via Gingerbread, was thinking of moving over. Great work on this, love it so far and haven't had issues besides the finicky data.

For the most part, I've had no data issues. There's been a few glitches where data was turned off randomly, but it's maybe once every two days.

Move to ICS

Fletch, I made the switch and must say its a vast improvement. It took 10 mins for the data connection to start the first time I loaded up cm9 but has been rock solid since. Not one drop in data. Now mind you i am in an area with no 4g only 3g but as far as I can tell there isnt a single data issue with 3g. Camera works great and so does video. Skype works but I never saw my brother on his end but he saw me. Maybe it was poor signal??? I wasnt on wifi so I cant say for sure but it is an improvement. The screen has a weird bug when rotating. It shrinks the rotates small then expands back. This is a known issue. But if you are having any doubt I would say just go for it. Anyone contemplating the switch should just do it. Why beat a dead horse when the real goal is to move to ICS. The GB kernel has too many issues trying to run the ICS os. The ICS kernel was made for this OS and should be easier for Hashcode to fix.

whats up with Rombot, I cant download todays nightly :-(, it looks like hes redoing rombot with all new directories and stuff...
