Not a soak tester.. but getting download now!

It is not OTA today. It is the soak and some incidental non soak testers always get it when pushed out to the soak testers.

I am kind of new to using these forums (not new to owning androids though...just too busy traveling & deploying the last few years to have time for forums), but I agree with sst45jeff. I don't think the OTA release has started for everyone yet. The Moto Owners Forum lit up for a few hours yesterday morning and has been very quiet since...not many people saying anything. Will continue to wait patiently for any testing to conclude and have my turn to update.

From the story in the link above, nice work Verizon:

UPDATE - Friday, April 12: The DROID BIONIC by Motorola will soon be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The software upgrade will be pushed to customers in phases starting April 15. For more information on the Jelly Bean Upgrade, visit the DROID Bionic support page.
Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, operating system will begin being pushed to customers in phases starting Oct. 19 for DROID BIONIC by Motorola devices.
Ice Cream Sandwich includes upgraded functionality and new features, enhancing the usability of the DROID BIONIC. Direct Access Lock takes users to the camera, text messages, keypad or unlock screen, providing direct access to the user’s most accessed functions. The Enhanced Notifications Window features a new swipe to dismiss functionality. Additionally, creating folders is easy by dropping one app on top of another.
Additional information on the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade can be found on the DROID BIONIC by Motorola support page.

I'm not rooted, but disabled some apps that stock ICS allowed. Should they been enabled for when I do get the OTA?

Got my JB update this morning. I'm bone stock. Anxious to see what's new, what's improved, and what's broken - because I KNOW there will be some of each.

Texting is new but is starting to act up. Was bad before the update, updated it was fine now stopped notifying and at times keyboard, also new, is not responsive. People (contacts) don't load and makes it hard to text or call anyone. Sometimes when I try I just get a black screen...was having this issue before too. Was faster after the update now slow again. Transition set at .5 and have wiped internal cache a well as apps. Browsers are not responsive either apps are slow to open. Makes no sense.
