"Official" Beautiful Widgets Skinning Thread

Am I missing something, or did I just down load the BW time and weather and nothing else. I have tried various "skins" but the backdrop doesn't change. What I see for examples show a full screen but when i apply one of the downloads it is just a 3/4" time and weather widget on the top of the screen. Do I have to download the pictured wallpapers also?

bw is just the time and weather widget. wallpapers are not included, you use your own for that.

Guys, I have the old 2.6 Beautiful Widgets and I have been trying to find how to make mine look like this one. Does anyone know where I can find this, the .pngs for it, or how to make my original one transparent using PS?

The one you are looking at is Weather Widget Donate. So, the old BW may not be able to do this.

Update: Seeing as you can't get it for Beautiful Widgets, being trying to edit my own. Here is what I have done so far, but still got a ways to go. Have to fix the numbers from overlapping (Now Fixed), as well as do the landscape mode.

Anyone know where to get that battery widget. the one i have is similar but mine won't let me do the black on clear. please help

^^ I belive its Battery Status Donate. The battery skin is Black Default.

That might be "Battery Left". I know the Battery Status - Donate has multiple skins but nothing that shows TEMP. just the % left.
Battery Left allows you to change the color depending on % left.

Thats really nice. I switched back over from BW to WWD because of the clear glass skin. If BW had this, i'd switch it back because of the smaller home setting.

I know what you mean. I like the transparency of Weather Widgets, but miss the animation of Beautiful Widgets. Here I'm trying to have the best of both worlds. Oh well, back to work. :happy:

If you are making this skin in Photoshop or something similar and are willing to send me the files I can probably adapt it to BW for everyone here.

Whenever I go to configure the weather widget, the GPS stays on even after I press back to go to the home screen. I also tried to turn off gps in settings and back on yet the gps still shows up in the notification bar.

Is this a bug? The only way to get it to stay off is to reboot the phone.

I've been noticing this also, but mine eventually goes off. But it does seem like it's staying on longer than normal. Not sure what's causing it. Make sure to notify Tama about it.
