"Official" Beautiful Widgets Skinning Thread

Any1 has problems with the recent updates of the Beautiful Widget? Is nice that we now have options to switch the weather icon to the center, but ALL the words like temp, location, etc., are way way too high and they are stacked up together. I even tried reboot, uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same. Never had this issue from the previous updates.

Any1 figured out why?

Changing the layout?

How do we change the layout of Beautiful Weather?

I'm not talking about skins or graphics. I'm talking about the actual layout, where the temperature is located within the widget, location of the date, etc.

For example, see the two screenshots of the Small Beautiful Weather widget below, showing two different layouts for the temperature, date, etc. They have the same skin but different layouts. How is this possible?

are you using 5 rows on your home screen? that causes funky displays in BW.

I've tried every different possible ways, like different rows vs. columns , and still the same. I wish there's a solution to this, I guess I'm sticking with the older version for now.

One suggestion I have for the app is to have hex color codes for the text instead of using the hue sliders. Would make it easier to match the color.

Sorry if this has been asked, but I've searched and haven't found it. How can you (or can you) change a color on a weather icon? I'd like either the Dharma icons with red instead of white, or else the flatwhite or flatblack with red instead. Any ideas?

Does anybody else have a serious problem with Beautiful Widgets eating your battery life like crazy? After almost 7 hours I'm at less than 30% and BW accounts for 90% of my battery usage. Anybody else?

set the update interval at 16 hours. and if you want it to refresh just tap the weather and select menu>refresh. that is how i have mine set and i have no battery problems due to the app.
