"Official" Beautiful Widgets Skinning Thread

BW is no longer avail as everyone knows. With that being the case, I am not able to download skins for the 2.9 apk I found online. Can anyone help me here?

Also, BW is not able to update as needed being it is no longer hosted. Any help there also?

How do we change the layout of Beautiful Weather?

I'm not talking about skins or graphics. I'm talking about the actual layout, where the temperature is located within the widget, location of the date, etc.

For example, see the two screenshots of the Small Beautiful Weather widget below, showing two different layouts for the temperature, date, etc. They have the same skin but different layouts. How is this possible?

I think those are different because of the settings. I think there's a show location or something like that that alters the layout in the example you posted. But if There is a way to change the layout I too would like to know. I'm working on some clock skins now and that info would be nice to have.

Edit: its in the advanced settings . Smaller home city.

Unfortunately it is not possible to move elements on runtime. The weather icon that can be centered is a hack that required a lot of time and cannot be reproduced on other elements within the widget.

I am still thinking on a way to do it maybe thru addons in the market, but not sure if that it is interesting and worth the work.

I couldn't seem to find this in the search but I'm looking for a way to display just the extended 4 day forecast without the clock with the Darkludi skin that I've seen some people do. I don't know how this is configured. Anyone have an idea they help me with?

It will show up in the market/downloads when your version is updated. Same as other apps.

I am not real clear on what you are asking. BW are widgets. Empty space on screen, add widget, pick a BW toggle and go for it.

I purchased beautiful widgets earlier in the year...version 2.0. I would like to update to version 3.0 but do not know how. If I have to re-purchase it I can but if it is for free...better. I looked in the market app but could not find an update for beautiful widgets. Beautiful live weather shows up on my list of downloads with no update available. What do I do?

I'd suggest first deleting cache/data for the Market app via settings > manage applications. If that doesn't fix the problem, when you search the market for Beautiful Widgets does it say purchased, installed or give a price?
