i got impatient and went with the leaked .607. if it's the exact same thing then i have no qualms as it's pretty awesome and installed with zero problems. and yes hyghwayman that's how you will do it manually, but there could be an unknown wait involved. i'm gonna try this "1 click" d3 root method so i can get my tether on

I consider myself too much of a noob to try to do a download/install, so I'll just keep checking for the update via my phone


Since I use my phones GPS for work, having to keep it pluged into the charger all day heats it up and it locks up / forced closed. I hope to get the update ASAP.

Just download the update file, rename to update.zip and then reboot to recovery. Hit apply update.zip and you're done. It's simple if you've been unrooted the whole time.

There are only a few fixes in the ota...its almost identical, had I not wanted the new kernel, I wouldn't have eaven tried...lol

My D2 is miles ahead of me running Cm7GB(OTAkernel)

I got the push update 15 hours ago....does that makes me among the first few who got it??!! I am absolutely loving it....I just bought the phone 2 weeks ago and I through the GUI was very heterogeneous....now it looks so much like an integrated interface...

guess im the only 1 who couldent update leak

have sbf for 5 times now to try and install the gb(at all leaked versions) and every time im getting errors when on recovery . hopefully will b able to update via ota when available

Quick thought...would calling *228 maybe update it without having it pushed to the phone? Or does it not work that way?

*228 is activation and PRL update, and only works with the CDMA radio module.
