I'm using the liberated HC theme too. Now that you mention it I'm pretty sure it may have started after I installed that theme. Guess I'll wipe again for the sixth time. Thanks

Sent from my DROIDX using DroidForums App

delete google voice and google search and what other google stuff giving you a prob from system/apps and data/apps then reinstall from market

One thing I just noticed... my facebook contacts come unsynced every time I restart the phone....

Anyone else have this or know how to fix it?

Sent from My Liberated Droid 2 (2.0.1)

I keep getting FC on voice search. If I restore it with an older version I have backed up via Titanium it works again, but if I reboot, then the FCs start back up. I've tried various themes and have reinstalled 2.0.1

I've had a few issues but I don't know which ones I caused or were caused by messing with themes, etc., so I started from scratch and found one that really bugs me.

This is a D2.

1. SBF'd back to stock
2. Setup root+clockworks
3. Flashed D2 2.0.1 manually instead of using Liberty Tools and wiped data (no settings FC patch and it never FCs)
4. Have not installed any themes or themed apps
5. Setup all my accounts, enabled sync, etc.
6. Installed Go Launcher and a couple of my apps from Titanium but nothing fancy.
7. Installed WeatherBug Elite from Amazon and Droid Overclock from the market.

When I setup the WeatherBug Elite and Droid Overclock widgets they work perfectly until I reboot. After reboot they are gone from my homescreen and aren't available in the widget list anymore. Both apps are still installed and work fine, but I have to uninstall and re-install them to get the widgets back. If I reboot they're gone again :( All the other widgets I'm using work fine.

Thanks for all the hard work, it's a very impressive ROM!

Use Liberty Toolbox and delete the voice search, then redownload it from the market

Hey Guys-

Having an issue.

When I try to go to Liberty Settings I get this:

"Error package not found. Please download Liberty Toolbox first."

I have Liberty 2.0.1 running on a D2G (I used v7 of the Romer tool).

Thanks!

Hmm, from what you wrote it sounds like it's nothing you did wrong. I would try the following before going any farther:
1. (This is the biggest one) Uninstall Go Launcher and set up the stock launcher with the same widgets and see if the widgets do or don't disappear. If they don't disappear than it's a problem with Go Launcher, contact the dev.
2. (You could try this but I doubt it will make a difference) Go back to stock and reinstall Liberty ROM, but this time redownload the files from some other source, again I doubt this will do anything, I'm just throwing it out just in case.

The main thing is to remove Go Launcher and go from there.

My Droid 2 completely restarts everytime I select "Accept" to approve permissions to Google Reader. I Have reinstalled Google Reader and have tried other reader applications.

This happens every time, I still cannot use Reader applications due to this.

I Have flashed, reinstalled fresh to try and fix this problem.

Thanks!

Yeah, I did that (removed Go Launcher), SBFd again and setup just the default ROM, neither made any difference. I found a new problem now though, when I uninstalled WeatherBug this last time it didn't remove cleanly or something and Amazon thought it was still installed so I couldn't re-install it.

SBF'd for now :/
