swype, I found it fixed itself when I long pressed on a text box and selected it from the popup menu.

themes for some apps, like twitter and miren browser only worked if I first uninstalled the ones I had.

my one minor problem is in inverted twitter. a reply to me has a white background. not really much.

otherwise, quite happy.

rooted, on liberty 2.0.1, slightly oc'd

Tried that -- got 'The Swype package you installed is configured for another device...'. I think the wrong apk is one my droid but I can't find where the correct one is to replace.

I have a quick question in regards to Liberty Rom v2.0, ever since i installed 1.5 on my Droid 2 i have not been able to install the latest version of Google Voice. I can use and see the app in my phone, but i can't install any updates, i get error "Package File was not signed correctly" and i get the same error running v2.0

any help?

Not sure if this is a liberty bug or an Oreoslice theme bug, but using Handcent + Swype, the Handcent popup does not move up when the keyboard pops up. Anyone else having this problem? It also happens with the stock Android keyboard.

Had to sbf last night. Kept losing my 3G. Re flashed v2.0.1 several times and would get it back then would lose it a little while later. After I did the sbf I got it back and haven't lost it yet. Any ideas before I reflash v2.0.1. Will have to sbf again though before I do because it did the ota software update and from what has been said roms can't be installed on it yet. Is this still true?

2.4.3 is the new gingerbread right? I think thats what has been said. Did find already it rooted just fine with no issues. So maybe the same is true for flashing a rom.

Hey guys... coming to you with a problem that I can't seem to fix.

So Last night I was feeling frisky and decided to download some custom ROMs for my new-ish Droid 2. Namely, the new Rooted Gingerbread and Liberty 2.0. I have successfully flashed Liberty v1 onto my last D2 so I'm familiar with the recovery bootloader and custom ROM scene.

So first, I installed the Rooted GB ROM and ran it... was very laggy but looked nice. I didn't like it, though. So I booted into recovery and wiped data/system/dalvik cache and installed Liberty. Everything was fine until I rebooted.. Now my phone is stuck on the first boot-up screen, with the LIBERTY letters. I can access bootloader if I batt. pull and hold x+power... but I can't get Liberty off my phone! Every time I factory reset/wipe it and restore or even try to flash back to GB it still shows the Liberty boot-up symbol.

I had this problem on my last Droid2, once I restored back to my stock phone ROM it still showed Liberty's boot logo... This makes me not even want to use Liberty because of how much it vandalizes my phone. I just want to know how to remove it...

You have to sbf to get back from gb. To remove the liberty bootanimation replace it with something else in the toolbox (easiest way).

Don't know if anyone else has this issue. I downloaded and installed the mysterious beast theme from toolbox. When I goin to settings and try to open mobile networks I can't and I also loose signal for a few seconds is there a fix for this besides getting rid of theme?

I am having a lot of freeze ups of different types. Sometimes I have just black screen that does nothing and other times I am not able to unlock, especially on an incoming call. Any tips? I have already SBF'ed and reflashed twice.

For the past couple days since I flashed Liberty 2.0.1 my "Google Voice Search" app force closes every time it boot/reboot and every time I try to use it. Any ideas?

Droid X

I have the same problems

Google talk failed to authenticate on reboots
Google voice crash (uninstall/reinstall fixed it)

Cannot approve any application permission requests such as youtube etc.. when you hit permit it reboots your phone.

Droid 2

After further investigation I now see that the voice input method for ALL apps is not functioning. Navigation, Dolphin HD, Voice Search, Google Search, Keyboard, etc. Each time I try to use the verbal input function I get this message "Sorry! The application Voice Search (process com.google.android.voicesearch) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" with a Force close button. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I'm having the same issue after installing the liberated HC theme. Not sure if its only that theme, I just wiped and reinstalled. Im using the stock theme until I hear more about this specific issue. Besides that, no problems. Liberty has been on my phone since its first release and I love it. Keep up the good work!
