Isnt that so that your phone will vibrate at any time it rings, voice, text, email, etc? I have it set to on, because even if thought I like to hear the ring tone, I cant always hear it, but can feel it vibrate.

I believe that setting only applies to the phone. If you want the other options (email, messages) to vibrate you have to edit there vibrate settings individually.

I have to respectfully disagree. I have SMS Popup set to vibrate and if I turn off the vibrate in the pull down menu, it does not vibrate when I get a text.

To me, the pull down menus are system wide. If you turn on silent, with the vibrate turned off, you will see a bell with a slash through it, meaning silent. Hit vibrate and it icon in the notification bar turns to a little vibrating phone.

I just turned Vibrate off, and the phone vibrated when I connected on a call.

Doesnt seem like there is a way to not vibrate on call connect.

What i was referring to was a setting under settings not the pull down menu. You are correct that if you want it to vibrate you have to have the vibrate option lit on the pull down menu, but you also have to set up the settings individually under phone, mail, and messages if you want them to vibrate when the option is lit.

I followed this:
try going to settings-->personal tab-->sound-->vibrate, and set it to silent mode only.

and it still vibrated on call connect.

Your right sparty, i miss read the original guys post. i thought he was talking just about vibrating when it rang not on when it was making a call. I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and am still on some good pain pills :).

No worries...was driving me crazy that you said that vibrate on connect could be turned off and I couldnt find it.

Hope the teeth feel better soon. I was lucky and mine all came out at once, no cuts and only hurt for a couple of days.

See you in 2016.

does anyone know the progress of the translating the weather app??

I think i read where translating is not the only issue. I think they also have to figure out how to get it to show the weather for other locations besides china.
