jrizzill, i am running your mod 6.2 on my v6.2..is there anyway i can flash 6.3 over that then flash mod 6.3 all without wiping..i just got my phone set up after a day of headaches...

Jrizzill. I uninstalled the wireless tether and reinstalled it from the market. It seems to work fine now.

Yea, the issue seems to be with it not actually being installed. When we put them in these update packages, the apps are just placed there, but not actually installed like they would be if you manually did it. I'm probably going to just remove Wired and Wireless tether from my mod altogether and just make users install it themselves.

It doesn't force close for me. Did you download load it from the market or from an app backup program?

installed 6.2 over version 3, installed version 3 over SS. I forgot to wipe and was surprised everything worked just fine. I had wireless issues where I couldn't seem to get reliable data transmission, however seems to be better with this release so far.

still using launcher pro, because of the lack of an app drawer.

oh, also noticed that I receive calls differently when the phone is on versus on stand by. I prefer the answer button to the sliding to answer approach. any way to set this add the default?

anything? default answer mode?

well crap. I can no longer run ANY of the slayher kernels. I used to run them all the time, and would clock scores of 1600+ with his highest speed in quadrant, but now all I get is boot loops. running a JDFLG kernel now, and while its quadrant scores aren't as high it seems to be working ok. this is on 6.3 mind you... i know 6.2 was flawed and didn't like slayher...

Might have thought of why... i didn't wipe when i went from 6.2 to 6.3... metic said I should try it and see if there were any issues... perhaps i just found one. Gonna wipe everything and reinstall 6.3 fresh and see if i can run Slayher kernels again.

Safe to install v6.3 over v6.2 without a wipe? I dont feel like wiping so ill just stay on v6.2 if i have to.

I installed 6.3 over 6.2 without a wipe, and I'm running Slayher's 1.2Ghz kernel without issues.

hey, does anyone have the wired tether .apk (1.2 or 1.4) whichever one works with 6.3 that they can post?
or at least point me in the direction of where it is please? im going to work and i really dont want to use the wireless tether

someone posted that 1.2 worked... I havent confirmed, but here is a download link for it.

Oh and fresh wipe format all partitions, slayhers kernels are now again working for me.

I didn't wipe. Flashed right over 6.2. No problems at all.
