Guys, the link I posted for Chevy's kernels is good to go. Use any of them you want. I'm not saying they'll all run great on your phone but he gave the go ahead so it should be safe. Chevy always has quality work, especially when there is a bug that needs to be squashed. I tested two of them for him before he gave the go ahead to post the link, 1.0Ghz-ulowV-7slot and 1.25Ghz-lowV-7slot and both worked perfectly.

If you like slayer's, flash slayer's. I'm just saying Chevy's are good to flash now.

I will put up a kernel thread or link the kernels in the OP when I get home from work.

When I switched to MIUI from Bugless Beast I stopped using ChompSMS due to the MIUI MMS being awesome. The only thing I miss is being able to change the vibrate pattern, the two little zips it does when I get a text goes unnoticed in my pocket most of the time. Is there any way to change the vibrate patterns on the stock MMS? I know this is a long shot and probably isn't possible but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask...

I'm currently using the new Chevy's 1.2 GHz ULV kernel and it's working spectacularly. Thanks again for posting the link to those.

eh, i think the stock sms/mms looks way better than handcent to be completely honest. handcent is bulky and ugly.

Seeing as you can customize handcent to look anyway you want, this is a fairly moot argument.

Which is why its bulky.

I've been running a slayher kernel flawlessly with this rom, but my phone really likes the chevy...always has. I may just need take the new chevy out for a test drive...

...so what's the debate on speed and voltage? Some need voltage for the overclocking speed, but the cpu works harder with lower voltage making it run warmer?

some of the mods/themes have it but it is not included in the rom...Jrizzell adds it to his and blue steel theme has it

Lol, I know. I meant I'm waiting until I finish porting MIUI. I did most of it this morning but the English files werent ready before I left for work. So, it's gonna have to wait a few more hours for the rom. Then I'll help the porter out with the theme if he needs it.
