Official Team D1-MIUI-10.29-V6.X Release

This one is going to require devs that have more knowledge of boot imgs and lib files, not necessarily apks or scripts. Someone sent me a gtalk message yesterday who is willing to help with the ports so I will give him what I have today and see if there is anything he can think of. I also have someone willing to edit the boot img now, I just need to give him the details.

I think that it may just be a bug in the rom, and you might as well skip this release and wait for the next release of the rom to port.

He indicated that it was a bug unique to the D1 port, do you have info that suggests otherwise?

EDIT: I think you might be on to something, I just looked at MIUI.com on the forums and there are lots of complaints of this version being very unstable, causing reboots, launcher FCs, etc.

I agree, best not to bother to try to port this version and just wait until the end of the week when I'm sure they'll have a lot of these things fixed.

I think I need someone dedicated to reading MIUI.com to help me, lol. I was on irc and no one had any issues with the rom on the N1 but there was only like people at the time. Hopefully it is not unique to the Droid because if it is it mean a whole lot less people doing a whole lot more work to fix it.

hahaha, that should get stickied in a "V7" thread, lol. Sounds like 11.05 was DOA. Those are the issues I had as well. I didn't eat too many cats though. lol. I'm going to go through the XDA MIUI thread and see what's up with theirs. Thanks for the info and comedic relief Public!

Im having some Fc's

I was wondering if anyone else was having any fc's when trying to use setCPU? whenever i try to change the speed it force closes. ALso the alarm clock app by pluto, alarm clock plus V2, and the alarm clock xtreme fc's when trying to set the time for the alarm. I tried running permissions in RM but that didnt work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are any of you guys using ADWLauncher on MIUI? It runs great for me. I'm really happy with the highlight press color change. God was the orange ugly.

How did those apps get installed on the rom? Backup/restore program, through the market or manual install?

Since you're getting fc in different areas my thinking would be your Droid doesn't like the kernel your running. I'd uninstall setcpu then flash a different kernel.

edit: unless its a kernel you've been running for a while with no problems... then I don't know what to tell you. But if setcpu won't behave enough to allow you to change things w/o a fc then flashing a new kernel should solve that. Then reinstall setcpu and go from there.
