I just experienced my first random reboot when switching my lockscreen wallpaper.:icon_eek:

When you were changing lockscreen wallpaper which option did you select when it RR'd?

The reason I ask is the only bug I found running beta 7 was it would not change lockscreen wallpaper from regular gallery but would from miui gallery.

I chose lockscreen gallery, picked the pic, then hit save it said saved as lockscreen wallpaper, then it rebooted. But once it turned back on it had the pic I chose. It hasn't happened sinse though:icon_eek:

Alittle different than I discovered but glad it's working may have just been one of those things???

Ugh this happens everytime. I wiped and backed up with MIUI back up. After trying to restore 79 of my apps only 6 restores. What am I doing wrong?

I think that there was someone who posted the method of restoring with MIUI backup by only restoring one quarter of one third of the apps at a time. It is worth trying if you are frustrated.

Thanks for the kernel. Ive got it workin on my phone. I don't have any swap. Is it hard to get it workin with my sd card?

I'm pretty sure ROM Manager has an option for formatting your SD Card, Thanks again Jamezelle for the kernel, everything seems to be working correctly.

compcache -stats shouldn't return anything then if I am correct?

The first two commands worked fine that you provided.

yea my fault just the rzscontrol /dev/block/ramzswap0 --stats should work and if your using backing swap it will show like mine does.

You flash it over the ROM from recovery to fix the file with the problem.

Flashed 12.24 over 12.3, no wipe. So far I'm experiencing no problems. Anyone have ideas of particular problems to test / be aware of?

Native screenshot doesn't work. Editing contact pictures will force close. You can do it through the gallery though. Can't see protected apps. There is a fix for the app issue on I believe the page before the previous one. Jamezelle also said he is posting a no wipe fix for the bugs. I don't know when though but hopefully soon.

good work. news and weather widget disappeared, but that's the only noticeable difference. so far 12.24 seems much more smooth and stable than 12.3. i'll keep the forum posted, but so far no wipe seems ok, at least coming from 12.3.

I still have mine due to TiBa. And yeah, in the OP he specifies stable so it's running pretty good. Mine wouldn't even boot without wiping and I was coming from 12.18.
