Old D1-MIUI-0.12.24.0

I use SPR so in Terminal Emulation

Code:
$su #cd /system/sd/dalvik-cache #rm * #reboot

If you can't cd to system this alternative will work:
Code:
$su #cd /cache/dalvik-cache #rm * #reboot

Mike

Thank you! Do I type it how you did or am I still pressing enter after su?

Enter as :

$su
#cd /cache/dalvik-cache
#rm *
#reboot

Sorry for the confusion. verify what file contains the dalvik and adjust accordingly

I realize because of another post that the commands above aren't needed for this ROM. However, because you have such a good understanding of these commands, I am wondering if you know of a good source that lists the command structure for the terminal commands. I have such a mixed up list of commands that I have to relearn things every time I use a new command.

i fixed my time stamp problem for text messages by going into settings then scroll all the way down and turn off (slide to left) sort SMS by date... then the times are local and correct. sorry if this has been stated already.

First and foremost one excellent ROM Update. Team D1-MIUI, you all out did yourselves. Thank you for the Christmas gift!!

Does anyone have a method of backing up and restoring the MIUI Music Playlists? I would save me alot of time I backed up all apps on both MIUI Backup and TiBackup.

Any help appreciated.

You do have to do them. If you're referring to ZeroBarrier's post he edited it stating that you still have to do it if you flash Jrizzil's mod and you have to do it for Jamezelles fix. IF you use SPRecovery. If you use ClockWorkMod then you don't have to worry about it.:)

I'm confused, in the main post it says "This rom does not contain the new market". But I flashed this and I now have the new market. I never had it before and I came from a wipe data/cache.

Jamezelle later commented that it was a better idea to have the updater script do the dalvik-cache wiping for everyone, so let's just wait till it gets released and Jamezelle gives us install instructions.

Right, but that isn't my question. My question is whether any of the readers here can point me in the direction of a tutorial for terminal commands. (I do use clockwork recovery but want to learn more about the commands.)
