I'm sure Jamezelle will get to it as soon as he wakes from his slumber. lol. This is his baby he spent a lot of time working on it for everyone. I'm just here to help if I can. I havent even loaded it yet. Our changelog usually conisist of fixes and updates not features. That's what the original miui changelog is for. [12?11?]MIUI?16?OTA?????????[????] - MIUI???? - ????Android ROM????

That's a list of features and what not. Use google chrome to open it and it will auto translate for you.

Why would you want to back up the system? The whole idea of a new rom is to update the system. It does back up the system, though. I haven't tried to restore it from the backup. If I have to restore the system, I use a backup from Rom Manager.

*sigh* I'm simply reporting jamezelle's words from IRC. And tbh, using miui backup instead of rm would be nice. But it doesn't work.
 
No joy here on 0.12.11.0. No issues at all with 12.3.2 but this one is rebooting when I try to restore my backups using either TiBu or MIUI restore. I've tried as little as one app to restore (ROM Mgr) and progress bar gets anywhere from 10 to 50% the forces a reboot. Note: I don't normally sign in to Google on first boot (corners skip trick) but even tried signing in first and it still reboots. Tried reinstalling from recovery with 3 wipes, no joy. Finally, tried reinstalling and Slayher kernel, same result. Slayher kernal was 800 variety. Back to 12.3.2 for now. Really like the ROM and the new file manager looked pretty slick.

crackedvenom, if you have a nandroid of your last MIUI install, load it up, run MIUI backup on apps only. Reflash 12.11 and run miui backup to restore them.
 
sorry guys i added the new gmail(com.google.android.gm-1.apk) to /system/app of the rom and forgot to remove the the old Gmail.apk

only use backup manager to restore apps

dont use tibu to restore system data and you wont get an acore f/c

will be updating changelog now....

No problem .. 99.9% of us don't mind switching it out :-) we appreciate all The work you put into this rom! And all the late hours!

i dont ever do system data though? i know from all the posts not to do that, haha. ill use backup manager from now on if it works
