Older Official D1-MIUI-0.12.11.0

Well I downloaded it and had every intention of installing this eve, but it seems every time I check in here there's a new bug! My only issue with12.3.2 right now is random fc's of the music app when screen is off, and an occasional "cross- app" if i fire up Slacker w/o completely killing Music. I've d/led win amp so I can ditch the Miui music app and hold onto this release for the time being. Getting upwards of 16 hrs on a charge, very few other bugs... hope to maybe jump on the next one.

So every once in a while ill get a text and long press on lock screen to preview it. Ill then open my keyboard and then unlock the phone and its freezes. Batt pull is the only fix. I mean obv I can open it in portrait but does anyone else have this issue or no how to fix it?

Someone on the Miui-Dev EVO forums makes mod update.zips that disable wallpaper scrolling. Any chance we can get that?

i havent had any problems besides the music player spazzing out but thats okay, i deleted it and use something else. this rom is really fast.

loaded up new miui (wiped then flashed) used titanium backup to restore and swype wouldnt swype but only type, I uninstalled the installer and used astro to re-installed it, same issue, any1 else having swype trouble?

I'm glad you mentioned this. I just switched to my replacement but before I switched I still had 12.3.2 flashed and I installed Swype with the installer and everything worked fine except the actual ability to Swype. I kept meaning to mention this and kept forgetting. But, I too am/was having that problem.

Well, I was loving the file manager until I found out it force closes when you try to rename a file. For me anyway

yea this was the first week they released the file manager its especially labeled beta. Most bugs should be reported this week with real world usage, and hopefully ironed out in fridays release

Off topic but will 2.2.1 flash the same way as 2.2 did? I got a replacement today and I'm not sure if MotoCache's method of rooting will work since it's 2.2.1

can anyone explain how to restore the backup i made using miui backup. restored some apps but wont restore all of them, notably the ones that were originally on my sdcard

as far as i know you can only backup data apps with miuibackup and system backups WILL NOT WORK with clockwork mod recovery

there isnt full support for landscape yet, so sliding open the keyboard can break things still.

I wasn't trying to sound rude in my post in case it appeared that way. But, I can't wait until it's updated some because it was really smooth and I liked the UI it had.

And yeah, I got it rooted and everything and now we'll see if I get to keep MIUI or not. Never know with these replacements. Running a little warm. Do I get the 4x4 music player from somewhere? Not really worried about it but just curious.

It's because values in the build.prop changed. Any time this happens Swype has to be re-registered, as the license.dat file relies directly on these values to stay the same.

do you know which values? If this is the case anyone with frg83d on the droid would be having this issue

I still had my email inviting me to swype, so I completely uninstalled swype and the installer then reinstalled from the email.works now.

you sure about this? i flashed the frg22d .sbf a few days ago, my phone automatically started downloading the frg83d update. i rebooted when prompted, and flashed sprecovery and installed motocache's root update without any problem.
