I just got into the swype beta but I can't use it because it needs me to disable it to generate a license by unchecking the box like stock android has for the keyboard. Anyone know of any fix

I just updated and it didn't ask me to uncheck anything. Do you already have a version of swype on your phone? If so, you need to delete it before installing the new one.

Edit: Its not working for me. Lemme see if I can figure this out.
Solved: I had to toggle from swype to android keyboard then back to swype, now its working (Long press on text box to change input method., or settings /language and input/ current keyboard.)

Came from sapphire to this (still love sapphire .. just been using it for months and needed a change). Installed with SPRecovery .. just rename to update.zip and you're good to go.

after 3 days it's been VERY stable. swype is being difficult .. but other than that it's all good.

NICE rom. great themes. thanks again!

Any word on the known setcpu/droid overclock issue? I tried both apps with my usual chevyno1 kernal set to 1.1 ghz but both apps drop it down to 1 ghz after a few minutes.

battery, battery, battery... smh. i went to the gym at 90% battery tonight, got on a mill, played music through the ear phones and after half a mile i was down to 50%. lifted some weights, and after another 10-15 minutes i was down to 20%. whaaaaaaat the heck..? i wasn't even surfing the web. i was just texting here and there. could the miui music app be draining battery?

a few of us are having the same issues... it will get down to 5% and stay there for hours.... i tried to recalibrate the battery today but i guess i did it wrong because im having the issue again

if you dont have time to charge like me most of the time remove that power saving mode or it will shut off ur data and other things u may need

Doesn't work for me either, I've tried a bunch of different things and nothing will let me disable Swype. I'm also a new user.

i was thinking about flashing a regular android rom, get swype working then flash muiu over that. anyone know if that would work? if not ill just backup and give it a shot

Your screenshot shows that phone idle used 35% of the 80% the battery has already drained (looks like you have 20% left, but you get the idea), within a 19 hour time span. How can you call this "eat up so much battery"?

35% of 80% in 19 hours! Not 35% of the total 100% the battery is capable of, not 35% in a few hours.

thats why we have people like you to explain it to us lol. ive never actually cared that much to try and figure out the battery usage stuff.
