OTA Updates Possible Before The 11th?

I'm hoping the Facebook update is slick, as I've said before, the only thing I miss about my Storm is the Facebook App. It was just all around better then the FB for the Droid, otherwise, I love it.

Mine stayed black after the call and the phone locked up. Had to pull the battery.

My phone WAS locking up all the time. Then one day i pressed the top power button 2 times when it was locked up and it fixed it...i've been doing that ever since wen my phone locks up and it always works. i'm thinking its the lock screen for a home replacement that's interferring with the stock lock screen maybe? anyway no more battery pulls since i discovered this.

what about the problem with the ear sensor? Other people and I have been getting this one problem where once you take your ear off the fone, it stays black

Have you tried wipping down the glass? It happens to me once n a while but its caused from the oils and grease from the skin on your face. Once you wipe it clean it stops

Got Mine!

Mine was asking to be updated this AM when I got up. Camera interface seems snappier and the device seemed more fluid. Have to go back to the punch and see what else is in it. New lock screen is cool too.

you will get a pop up notification to click on to install the update. most of us will not get it till thursday night/friday morning at 12:00am. they wll do 200,000 updates a day starting then until all the droid are updated. on a select 9000 will get it before then per verizons release of update details.

Do we think this is some sort of convoluted beta test? That is the only reason I could see to have a release schedule like this.

Wouldnt think so, VZ doesnt do push updates with other devices do they? Maybe the infrastructure isnt quite ready for a full-blown deployment for all Droids at one time. Mine appears to be working well after the update

Their blackberry's get push updates. Can't speak for WinMo.

Yeah, I can't wait to see how much this happens in the summer. I know when my :blackberry: storm, I use to pull the phone away from my face and it was be nasty.

What can I say? I don't like to use the AC!
