Back on track... If google came out with full mobile service... do you (anyone) think it will all be over data/(Wifi when possible) sort of like the new Republic Wireless?

i know apple and google are opposites but you have to remember with apple its 2 phones, so the whole ecosystem that they strive for will be impacted with small decisions. With google, their are many phones so that small decision isnt as a big deal because the whole ecosystem isnt affected by it only that one phone among several dozen. I bet Google does have the balls, but they arn't going to throw a tantrum like Apple needs to in order to get what they want for their ecosystem. While im not sure the relations of execs with google and VZ are on the inside, but i assure you they are probably more into golf than they are arguing over a phone. Google easily could pull their normal not having nexus on VZ thing so the fact that VZ has it means they are probably both happy with each other. they might have the occasional tussle over it but because google is google and they want to control their baby with limited outside interference but vz is vz and they obviously wants collaborative input like every other device. Just because we dont know the reason for a delay doesnt mean its the worst possibility. Maybe their was just a manufacture problem that was quickly solved but delayed the device a week. Im going to be glass half full till at least after black Friday when our norm rumors wear off. ill be half empty mid December.
Thanks for the support. My boys will always come first. And you're right, I know a-lot of people who don't see it that way either. Hope something works out sooner rather than later. I'm sure we're all well aware that life throws a ton of curve balls before we get to hit one outta the park.

No way google gets into wireless service. Haha DOJ would have a fit. Google owns one of the largest phone OS's, just bought a very large hardware manufacturer, and if you add in controlling the airwaves haha see my point. google isnt exactly going to start a wireless company they would have to buy one out. that merger would never go through.

Well November 28th makes sense if anyone remembers the "web only" rumor. Cyber Monday is just as busy of a shopping day as Black Friday. So maybe Cyber Monday for the initial release on the web and then December 1st in stores? Anyone going to bite on that theory? Think of Cyber Monday as a pre release.
Still hoping sooner than later but that theory seems very plausible.

I wouldn't put any stock in a story that comes out of Droid Life.
I don't remember where I read it but it was stated that the acronym w/o may have been misinterpreted as "web only" when in fact it meant "week of."
Yes, I read that as well but "w/o" could also mean web order instead of "web only" which would make lots of sense and the Cyber Monday release completely plausible.

Haha. Not a bad idea. I could jst give em my D1, they love this thing. I talked to Verizon earlier and asked if you can upgrade and just add the phone price to the monthly bill. She said you could up to $400. I know depending on who you talk to, you get different info. Has anybody heard of this or done it?
