amen!!!!!!!!!sorry to hear that! Life definitely throws us some curve balls sometimes, doesn't it? Good on you for making sure that the kids get their presents before you get yours... I know some people where that wouldn't be the case. Keep your head up and keep on truckin' and i bet something good will come your way!
Did you catch this post over on the GalaxyNexusForum?

While I'm hoping the release is this Friday, I would almost prefer it to be in a couple weeks now. I've been following this phone for a long time now and had money set aside to grab one on release day but a recent event caused me to have to basically throw that money away. I'm going to school full time and my wife is working until I graduate in June. Between school, work and kids there's not much time for me to find even a part-time job. What cash I do have left will go to the kids for Xmas. I know this isn't relevant to the topic but I just needed to vent. To everyone on here, when it does drop, be sure to let me know what I have to look forward to when I finally can get mine.

If this is true, I'm very proud of Google for standing up to Verizon. I suggested this a while back and got shredded here in the forum for suggesting that Google had any power over Verizon, but I think Google has more power over carriers than most think. The perception of Android is not what it used to be. A lot of people love Android and prefer it as an alternative to BB and iOS. This is clear just by the massive number of Android users worldwide. If Google somehow withheld certification from Verizon phones over a rift between the two, customers would be outraged that they would have to go to another carrier to have an Android phone. Interesting thought, I really wonder if this is true or rumor?
I don't have any clue about the validity of this claim, but not having Android on Bing red would certainly be a bummer

meh, i dout it but i guess i always have the thought that you should never threaten or even joke about breaking up with your girlfriend unless you mean it. Google losing Vz would be a huge loss, way greater then a single android phone will ever be. I can see walking away from the deal on both sides but not okaying future android phones would create a very large problem for google. You dont threaten a breakup over a small fight...that will just create problems for the future. Just my IMO on

I wish Google would start up their own cell phone service. Can you imagine that? Seems like the next logical step for a company hellbent on world domination!

That was quick... I think the upgrade to Droid Ninja upped your Google-Fu +10 Experience points...
