Post Battery Life Screenshots Here!!!

Carol;
Hmm... Let's see... Learn smart actions app... That helps... Turn off 4G when you are in a wifi area.... Change your preferred network type to lte/cdma instead of global SYSTEM SETTINGS>WIRELESS AND NETWORKS >MORE>MOBILENETWORKS>NETWORK MODE
Root alone will not increase your battery life... It used to be that there were some root only apps that could help you out with that... But today's newest generation of smartphones have similar apps to the root only ones pre installed or available without root.... Not to say that rooting isn't fun too!

Any tips on how to longer your battery life of android phones?...
I heard rumors and read some articles that rooting your android device can make your battery life longer.
Is it true?

What I do is that I toggle my data connection. I just downloaded a simple "toggle data on/off" widget so I turn my data on only when I need it and keep it off the rest of the time. Also clearing your cache once a day helps too, as does killing applications you're not using. Simply long click and swipe away the apps you're not using. No root required! Good luck :)

I'm guna sound like a da... But how do you clear your cache? And does that effect like search memory?

search "clear cache" in the market... should find plenty of options... use is self explanatory once you start the app

How did you get % in your battery icon?, are you rotted?

My battery life has finally taken off.... the secret is definitely turning off 4G LTE and using Wifi as much as possible, and using the Smart Action to stop background data sync from constantly checking email/ app updates etc all day. I still have it on 4G during the day at work, so 7-10 hours a day or so, depending on how long I spend in the car.

Here's after I first set up those rules. I used to get 8-10 hours MAX before I'd be near 10%.

You can see here on the left, where I was loading ~20GB of data onto a new microSD card, so it was plugged into the computer USB all night transferring data. But I forgot to plug the laptop in, so when the laptop shut itself off, the phone battery went kaput very fast since it was making thumbnail files etc

Over this past weekend, I barely used my phone and got nearly 2 days out of it! This was with only like 52 mins screen time, and 13 mins talk time.

I don't have a screenshot but my MaxxHD stock is getting the same/possibly better battery life than my rooted/tweaked Razr Maxx... about 10 hours screen on time per charge DancingNexusdancedroid:icon_ banana::icon_ lala:

not to mention I usually listen to music every day with the screen off most of the time so that will eat battery as well... love this freakin phone
