I've moved onto nova prime but I never had that when I used atom...have you tried different scroll effects to see if it stops?

Not yet,but ill try as a tip & see how it plays out..off topic since i have u here,but u use any wifi/data toggles on yours?i been usein widget soild for the longest but seems to eat my battery up..More like testin it out without it

I use notification toggle, doesn't seem to use much battery at all...best one IMO

My phone is VERY warm when the Media or Android OS are running. They are constantly running in the background and keeping the phone awake when the screen is off. I tried a FDR with no improvement. It's an absolute joke that my phone will not last more than 6-8 hours with light use. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am open to trying anything, except doing another FDR since its a huge pain and made no noticeable difference.

Media is searching through old files that have accumulated on your internal and external memory cards. It scans for pictures music ring tones etc.

I had this problem when I updated to jelly bean. Your not going to like this but here's how I fixed it.

1.back up all pictures and important files you wish to save, to a computer or laptop.

2. Format internal and external sd cards.

3. Factory reset by going to settings, privacy, check the box to erase all user data.

4. Then you can put your pictures and music back on your sd card and hopefully enjoy your phone again!

There is another thread I believe it's titled cpu usage this morning, you can read through for some more information.

Posted a screen a bit ago when on ICS. This is on jellybean, like last time,

Oc'd to 1.2 GHz, performance. (Even when screen is off)
4g toggled off,
WiFi at home
