Keep in mind that that list of safe apps has an error that no one has corrected or at least needs to state exactly what it does.

TTS service is NOT safe to delete. Doing so will cause Google Navigation to force close on launch.

Maybe You Didn't Read The Post I Gave That Other Member: "Just Be Certain To Read What The App Is Before Removing It. Obviously Don't Delete What You're Gonna Be Using."

I Don't Use Navigation I'd Rather Look At The Map And Know Where I Am. :)

I'm not going to debate you on this so this will be my only comment. IMO removing PART of an application is a mistake. If you are going to list TTS Service then you need to list all the rest of the Google map components. If removing the service caused the Navigation button to vanish in Google Maps then I wouldn't have problem with it being on the list. As is you leave a trap door that people might not recall on some future date and they decide to use Navigation for the first time. Most of the app names are pretty intuitive but TTS service isn't and there have been several posts about people having issues with Navigation that on questioning discover that TTS was frozen. Yes people should read more before freezing but You and I know that people don't. If you put in parenthesis beside TTS service "(Part of Google Navigation Do not delete if you use it)" then I wouldn't complain about it.

Also your list isn't complete. Ex: You can remove Backup Assistant and it's client. I remove them as they do nothing that Google and other programs already do and add complications (confusing separate contact lists and calendars)

I'm Not Gonna Debate Either I Will State Fact That People Have Told Me After Deleting It They Had Problems So I Encourage To Be Safe. Also Stating That I Had No Problems. TTS = Turn By Turn Service All You Had To Ask Was Update Letting People Know. I Will Update It Now At Your Request. Nothing To Get Growled Up About Calm Down Everything Is Cool. ;)

Sorry which app are you referring to here? TTS service or the Backup Assistant? (Have people had issues with Backup assistant being frozen?)

I Was Getting Many Complaints On Freezing/Deleting Backup Assistant And I Still Don't Know Why. To Be Safe For All Members I Needed To Remove It From The List, I Can't Just Make A List For Certain Users To Me That's Not Fair. I Listen To Others To Make Everyone Happy And Not Destroy Phones. Good Example Is Someone Could Send Me Hate Mail Because Their Phone Didn't Work Right, I'm Still Gonna Help Them Whether They Like Me Or Not.

You will get no argument from me on that. I'd be a hypocrite otherwise. It is called the "safe list" after all. I wasn't aware of any issues with Backup Assistant. I have removed it and so far have no problems. Any clues on what trigger it? Damn, I'd hate to have to put it back. It is a pain in the butt.

Nobody Has Given Me A Reason Why, It Is Safe Because The Phone Still Boots And Contacts Are Not Broken. It's Up To The User To Find Out What Apps Do What. As Long As The Phone Still Operates That List Is Safe. If I'm Not Mistaken Inside The Blur Gallery It Still Shows The DLNA Service Even After It's Deleted. I Feel It's Up To The User To Either Ask Me What They Are/Do Or Google Search Them. The Term Safe Refers To The Phone Booting, No Force Closes, And No Broken Contacts Not Whether Apps Work Or Not. Maybe This Is New To You I Have No Idea.

I'll keep a lookout on BA issues. If we can find out what is happening and why, then we can see what needs to be done to address it. Hopefully we can soon just flash Cyanogenmod and be done with these motobroken/vcrap apps. LOL
