I have good speed test results too, but when ever I download an actual file from a webpage or ftp server I am getting no where near those speeds. I get over 1 mb per second download speed on speedtest, but my files download at 100-160 kbps. I can never top 200 kbps on any large file.
Any one else see a good speed on a download of ~600 mb over 3G?
I haven't actually tested it myself, but... are you comparing the same measurements? As in, speedtest.net and most any bandwidth advertisement or spec is going to use Kbps (Kilo Bits Per Second), where file transfers are usually measured in KBps (Kilo Bytes Per Second). 1KBps = 8Kbps, so 160 KBps on a file transfer would be about 1.28 Mbps as measured in speedtest.net.
I am seeing 100-160 KBps so you are right with that conversion it may be more in line. Still slower then I thought it would be for current mobile broad band. I guess I need to pay more attention to terms
I'm able to copy link from my pc test but how do I get just pic not link( cause I know how to do that) from droid test and what does shopsavvy scanner have to do with this?
