Post Your Weather Pictures

I have heating coils on my top roof and I had them turned on but the snow was freezing as soon as it melted which cause those giant things to form.

sent from the great depths of my phones internet (thanks Al Gore)

While you are worried about that terrible 80 degree and sunny weather I am trying not to die while these things fall from my roof..........

lol you should pull em off and have a really short sword fight.

i don't actually live this far south im just down here for a few days checking out some property. I actually live about 3 hours away but the temps are pretty much the same.

That would prolly explain it. We got heat coils on our upstairs heat/ac system. They do a good job of meltin snow on some parts that have sunshine but we rarely get more than about 3-4" here in east nc. Nothin compared to yalls 20"+

Lol can't imagine a 8ft sword. Imagine the reach with that thing

Yeah, and I thought those florescent lights tubes were fun.

I cant imagine 20" of snow. I'm glad it doesnt get that cold here. But on one of the few days it did, last Friday, we had to survey a ditch. The ditch was about 150' wide, 2' deep in the center. Lucky me got the hip waders and the gps, and through the water I went.
Yesterday it was in the 60's and sunny. We walked down a dike to finish surveying that area, which is all wetlands, and one of our guys walked over a 3' cottonmouth. We thought it was still too cool for them to come out so we werent looking for them. But J.W. wasted no time swinging his machete.
With the temps going from the 20's to mid 60's, we get heavy fog. Today in the same area, you couldnt see beyond 500'.

Cotton mouths have one nasty bite. I got a friend here in east nc that surveys land. Mostly surveys near little washington. It can be nasty work out in the field. It got up 60 here today. Warmest day since sometime early november. Finally got us a decent day

Little Washington, is that on the Pamlico Sound? I spent a summer in Chocowinity, NC which is right next to Washington if I remember correctly.

You are right about that one there rebel. Its a nice place if you know someone with a house to go and chill by the river

This was taken over the summer at the new Boeing plant here in Charleston, SC. It was emailed to me by a friend who works there but I don't know if it came from a security camera or his cell phone though

Not too many days to see lightning bolts come down and actually captured. Wicked picture of the lightning tho. That's like a weather channel picture you see on tv.

During that surf contest yalls waves but everything on the east coast to shame haha. I don't know if I would have the nerves to try and surf that. You fall off the board its gonna hurt especially if you are over shallow water where the big waves sucked out a lot of water. They got major props from me to be surfing those waves like its nothing

I know it was cold but I bet tubing was fun regardless of temp. Also if anyone in the community is being affected by the wildfires in the Midwest remorse goes to you
